7 Things God Does When He’s About to Surprise You
1. He Separates You From Distractions
Sometimes God will pull you away from certain people, places, or comforts so you can hear Him clearly. What feels like isolation may actually be preparation.
Isaiah 30:21 “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it.’”
2. He Allows Delays That Build Your Faith
When God is preparing a surprise blessing, things may not happen immediately. The waiting season strengthens your trust and teaches patience.
Habakkuk 2:3 “Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come.”
3. He Gives You Unusual Peace in Difficult Times
Even when nothing around you makes sense, God fills your heart with peace because He already knows the outcome.
Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds.”
4. He Begins Closing Wrong Doors
Some opportunities, relationships, or plans may suddenly stop working. God closes certain doors because He is protecting you from what is beneath His purpose for your life.
Revelation 3:7 “What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open.”
5. He Stirs A New Hunger in Your Spirit
Before a major shift, God often draws you closer through prayer, worship, and His Word. Your spirit begins to crave deeper intimacy with Him.
Psalm 42:1 “As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.”
6. He Sends Divine Confirmation
God may confirm His promises through sermons, scriptures, dreams, conversations, or repeated messages. He reassures you that He has not forgotten you.
2 Corinthians 1:20 “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen.”
7. He Does Things Beyond Human Explanation
When God is ready to surprise you, He moves in ways no man can take credit for. Doors open unexpectedly, help appears suddenly, and impossible situations turn around. Ephesians 3:20
