WHAT IF WE TARRIED A LITTLE LONGER AND POSITIONED RIGHTLY? PT 1

There are things in the spiritual realm thsat come to us because we desire them. Scripture says that Gid will give us the desires of our hearts - Psalm 37:4

And there are things/graces in life because we tarried in the secret paces. Jesus asked the desciples to tarry in the upper room until the Holy Ghost had come upon them - Acts 1:4
The power that the apostles received of the Holy Ghost was for purposes of effecting cange by the gospel. They would not effectively change the world as Christ had promised them without the Holy Ghost. They Had to wait for the Power.

God tells Moses, when he wanted to see God's face to go and "wait" somehwere, and while there, he would see the goodness of God - Exodus 33:17-23.

And then, there are grace will come to us by positioning. They find us serving. They find us being at the right place we were supposed to be - It is not in the serving itself that you get the grace. It is not also the physical palce, lest we make this a vain doctrine. It is the state of the heart. Faith and/or salvation is not just a system we get into. It is a state of the spirit. It is a place in the spirit, in God.
Sometimes, we are positioned knowingly or unknowingly. That is why it does not really depend on our physical abilities. - ! Kings 19:15-21, 1 Samuel 3:1-21.

Sometimes, positioning looks like simply staying in your service lane withour leaving. Samuel did so. It is not that all that are serving are rightly positioned, but you may never know when that time comes. Where it will find you matters. Sometimes, postioning looks like you stating humble under that man/woman of God placd over you. We should never let our lamps go off. Somethings will come because you waited patiently, through the hardship.

Prayer: Lord, I thank for your word today. Give me the right eye to know when and where exactly I am supposed to be. Thank you for the patience to wait for the right moment for my lifting in Jesus' Name. Amen.
.............To be continued. Watch out for part two.

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 AMP
[17] be unceasing and persistent in prayer; [18] in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

Ladies and gentlemen, prayer is a moment of communion with God. It is a place of talking with the father, a moment of allowing yourself in the presence without holding back anything.
With so doing, you are ushered into the power house.
Differentiate praying from decreeing and /or declaring (commanding into existence)
Prayer, among other things is the powerhouse. It is during this moment of koinonia that you are empowered for God.
The Psalmist writes and says that he who "dwells in the secret place" ...... This is not a place we visit. Prayer is a home we live in.
How effective your command level is shows us how much you invest in the secret place.
We love commanding things to be, but we do not have the very power that gets things working.
You see, we love results, but do not love the process. It does not work that way.
God does not *"cast children's bread to swine". The much he can do is give you "crumbs". Let us learn and love to invest in time with God.
He will show and tell us " great and unsearchable things that we do not know"

Hallelujah!

BASICS OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH-Repentance from Dead Works (Preaching Salvation by works)
Part 3

Let's Teach them right:

Servant of God, please note that if we must teach the children of God that they MUST do certain things for them to gain approval from God, we lead them astray, and deter them from understanding the real essence of the coming of the Christ. This is the reason why after some generations have passed church buildings will be turned into mosques and shopping malls or social centers. If we do not handover the right foundations to those coming into the faith, we will delay the return of Christ our Lord.

Brethren, in teaching God's people to old fast to the dead works, we are directly saying that the coming of Christ was in vain.

Let's read Hebrew 9:1-14.

I will pick it up from vs 8, The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the only way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and canal ordinances imposed on them until the time of reformation.
But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made by human hands, that is to say, not of this building:
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once to the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
For if the blood of bulls and goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctified to the purifying of the flesh
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered without spot to God.
purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Child of God, no one that practiced the law that called for one to do works for approval before God ever met the standards of approaching the presence of God. See, God is righteous, and whoever comes to him must be righteous too. But man, is not righteous, our works cannot purchase righteousness for us either. You and I. if we were not a High priest, were not allowed to the holiest of holies, where God's presence was. We would stay in the outer courts and send a high priest to present our petitions to God. But here is the problem, even the high priest was not perfect, they risked dropping dead in the presence of God if they were found unworthy. With this, hope was definitely thwarted. But when Jesus, He comes as the High Priest that is, himself, the perfect sacrifice also, that was offered once and for all. He does not cover our sins like the blood of the lambs did. He washes us clean, purges out our sins, never to be remembered again. Isaiah fore saw this and wrote it in

Chapter 43:25 KJV-I, even I am he who blazeth out thy transgressions for my own sake, and that thy
sins I will not remember

See the above? God did not want to take away our sins because of any works, but for his own sake. He chose to make us be in the right standing. Let us repent from dead works, because they will not suffice

Read Hebrews 10:10-14 KJV By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of the God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he has perfected for ever them that are sanctified

Do you think you are sanctified. Do you believe that the work of the cross was enough to get you accepted to God? You can now come to the presence of God, dwell there because he has imputed his righteousness into you, and as such, you are his righteousness (2 Cor 5:21)

If this does not suffice you to believe, please read

Ephesians 2:10 KJV-For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath beforehand ordained that we should walk in them.

Did that verse you nudge your understanding to another level? You have been created in Christ. That means that when you keep in the presence, God sees Christ. You are covered in Christ. If you still think that you are unworthy because you have not done something, your cover has done it all. Christ fulfilled all righteousness, did everything that there was to please God. You stand as the finished work of Christ, which is why We have Read in Hebrews 10:13 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of the God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool

It was done and dusted. If there is anything you have to do, is to walk in the good works that God ordained beforehand please see again Eph 2:10 part b: which God hath beforehand ordained that we should walk in them.

Do you now see how it is going to be easy to do everything we do without straining, and grumbling and wanting to give up? It is because Christ already did it. You walk in it. It will come effortlessly. The work will be done, and it will impact lives because they carry a revelation and the life of God.

It was, initially dead works, because we did them to attain salvation and approval before God, which was not possible.

Now that we are in Christ, the works follow us because we have been approved, and are saved already. Apostle Paul Says that we should repent from these works. Repentance is not saying "Lord forgive me." It is rather stopping and changing the direction toward the right destiny. He says that this is a foundational teaching that we all must know as we come to Christ, as we receive Salvation.

Did this bless you? Share it with others

Prayer

Loving Father.

Thank you for every prerequisites for salvation were met by Christ on the cross. Thank you for making salvation a gift for me to benefit from. Help me to uphold this truth throughout my salvation journey. In Jesus name Amen.

BASICS OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH- Repentance from Dead Works (Preaching Salvation by works) Part 2

From what we shared yesterday, you realize that When God created man, he never mentioned sin to them. The problem of God was not Satan, because he knew he had created man as powerful as himself. So if your salvation still tells you hold a set of rules and regulations before you can be sure of your place in God, you were misled.

Let us read Ephesians 2:8-9-Fer by Grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourselves; it's the gift of God, NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast

We should learn from the inception of receiving salvation that just as we do not receive it because we did something good, we equally do not live, sustain, or advance in it because we do something. Some, if not all of us that profess salvation are doing the right works, but with the wrong motivation. We do because we are saved. We do not do to get saved. This is not to downplay the things we do in this other side of Glory, they have their own place as well. But the most important is first understanding what salvation is all about-getting us reconciled to the father through Jesus Christ, then we can also be able to reconcile others to God- (2 Corinthians 5:18)

Please also note that our works will go with us, and they will be tested with fire, and these works are, because we built on this foundation. Therefixe, 13. "Every man's work shall be made manifest for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sert it is. 14. If any man's work abide which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved, yet so by fire-1 Corinthians 3:13-15 KJV

So you see, the works are important, but they come in secondary according to how God has set his priorities. God does not use a donkey he has not fed God does not require from us what we do not have, as no man can give what they do not have, God cannot require from you what he has not provided or beyond what you can afferd

God is not only interested in us reaching the destination. He wants us to reach there safe and sound. He therefore wants to grow you to a state that if you have to do anything, you do it from a revelation that comes from salvation. The things we do to attain or retain salvation are called "dead works became some of things we want to struggle to do, especially outside of revelation and faith, are done, even by the heathen, and they still will perish in hellfire. See the difference" They do it outside of salvation. They do it to obtain a good report. They do it to appease authorities The only thing we do to please God is to get bom again accepting his sacrifior as the atonement for sins, as the judge that took our place for judgment and set us free if we can accepe that and walk in it, we will not struggle to do other things, and when we do them, they will only add to the fulfillment that comes by salvation by grace through Faith

These works are dead because they do not have life. They do not impact us spiritually, especiallv if they are done outside the realms of salvation

Prayer Lord Jesus. Help me to undentand and remember als avs that you saved me from the burdens of A Civat works for approval. That whatever I am and will be has nothing to do with what I did and will ever do May this knowledge stay with me, even as I disciple nations for you in Jesus name. Amen

So, what does Jesus’ resurrection mean to you and I?

The apostle Paul, who had also initially been a skeptic of Jesus’ resurrection, explains its impact on our lives.

“For Christ has completely abolished death, and has now, through the Gospel, opened to us men the shining possibilities of the life that is eternal.” —2 Timothy 1:10, Phillips

In other words, Jesus’ death and resurrection opened the door for us to have eternal life with Christ. But, there is an obstacle preventing us from going to heaven. The apostle Paul explains.

“You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions…” —Colossians 1:21, NLT

The obstacle to us having eternal life with Christ is that we have sinned and rebelled against a holy God. Although God loves us beyond our understanding, his perfect justice requires payment for our sins. The penalty is death.

Many wonder why an all-powerful, loving God can’t just forgive us without punishing us for our sins. Why does he demand justice?

Imagine entering a courtroom and you are guilty of murder. As you approach the bench, you realize that the judge is your father. Knowing that he loves you, you immediately begin to plead, “Dad, just let me go!”

With tears in his eyes he responds, “I love you, son, but I’m a judge. I can’t simply let you go.”

Presenting the evidence against you, he bangs the gavel down and declares you guilty. Justice cannot be compromised, at least not by a judge. But because he loves you, he steps down from the bench, takes off the robe, and offers to pay the penalty for you. And in fact, he takes your place in the electric chair.

This is the picture painted by the New Testament. God stepped down into human history, in the person of Jesus Christ, and was crucified on the cross for us. Jesus is not a third-party whipping boy being punished for our sins, but rather he is God himself. Stated more bluntly, God had two choices: to punish us for our sin, or to receive the punishment himself. In Christ, he decided to pay the penalty for us.

In other words, God’s perfect justice is completely satisfied by the death of his Son, Jesus Christ. All of our sins—no matter how bad they are or have been—are completely paid for by the blood of Christ.

Foundations of the Christian Faith.
What are the basics/foundational lessons for a Christian life? A life fully rooted in Christ?

I will be taking time to run us through these basics that we take lightly, but once we miss their essence from the first day we receive Christ, our salvation will stay shaky.
Today, I will list some of them, and then we will take the next few days to look at each one of them so we understand how they can help us run the race without growing weary or fainting.

Please note that being foundations, there may be things that may seem to supersede them, but we know that if the foundation is not laid right, there is nothing else we can build that will be sustainable.
Let us look at our theme scripture below:

Hebrews 6:1-2 AMP
[1] Therefore let us get past the elementary stage in the teachings about the Christ, advancing on to maturity and perfection and spiritual completeness, [doing this] without laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,
[2] of teaching about washings (ritual purifications), the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. [These are all important matters in which you should have been proficient long ago.] .AMP

Please note:
1. Repentance from Dead Works (preaching salvation by works)
2. Faith Toward God (Salvation by faith alone in Christ)
3. Ritual doctrines (as is the dictates of the law)
4. Laying on of hands (a way of impartation of every spiritual gift and blessing)
5. The resurrection (our confidence in salvation stands on the fact that Jesus resurrected from the dead)
6. Eternal Judgement (there will, definitely be an eternal Judgement for whoever ignored the gift of Christ)

Paul, the chief Apostle calls the above "elementary, foundational, basis things that EVERY CHRISTIAN MUST be founded on if we will be successful in our spiritual journey.

It's good to be deep in scripture. It's good to speak mysteries and vision from above. It is great to preach scripture using the Hebrew and Greek languages, but if the foundations were not laid right, we will have very minimal to no impact in this course.

Brace yourselves. The next six days will be for going through these foundational lessons.

Prayer: thank you, God for your word, and the foundations you desired for us to build on. Help me to stand strong on them so that my salvation shall be established in power.
Thank you because this day has favored me and things are shifting for my sake.
In Jesus' name. Amen.

KNOWLEDGE, A WONERFUL COMPLIMENT TO OUR FAITH IN CHRIST.

Recenty, I was was having a chat with two of my disciples on the topic of faith. And I relaized that I moved beyond the normal coverstions we have on faith.
I asked them whether they thought that Jesus had faith to live the life that he did.

One swiftly said yes, that Jesus had faith, and the other kept mumbling between thoughts.

First, to set you you on track as we share this, Faith is one of the most important parts of our life. It is one of the basics of salvation. It is part of what scripture calls elementary doctrines.
Let us read Heb 6:1-2 (NIV) 1 Therefore let us move beyond the (elementary teachings) about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, (and of faith in God), 2 instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

So among the elementary, foundational, basic teachings in the journey of slavation is faith. Being foundational or basic does not demean it. It means they form the foundation of our walk. When buiding a house, most empahsis is put on the foundation, yet it is not the foundation that will cover us or protect us from the cold of the night and the heat of the day. This is because if empahasis is not given to the foundation, all the struggles to raise the walls are not worth the struggle as that building risks falling miserably.

In like manner, Faith is one of the foundations that uphold the walls of our salvation. If not grasped in the start, we will keep struggling in our walk of salvation. We will go to heaven tired and miserable.
So when talking to my disciples, I told them that Faith is important for us to build sinews around the power and ability of God in our lives. But there is a space higher than faith.
Let me give a practical example. You may choose to fully beileive God for provisions to the extent that you choose never to borrow to satisy your wants. That is putting Faith at work. As you become consistent in that, and as you keep seeing God come through for you, it now becomes a knowledge issue. It transcends beyond the foundations. You live knowing that come rain or sunshine, you cannot lack as God will definitely supply your needs. That is how your prayer items change. You stop asking God to provide somethings for you, and instead just thank him because that is already settled. You do not give it a second thought.

When Jesus was raising Lazarus from the dead, he did not pray, He only said, "Father, I thank you because you always hear." And then he called Lazarus out from the tomb and Lazarus came out. Read John 11:41-44
Jesus did not need to have faith to do anything he did. He operated in the knowledge that He is God, and that the Spirit of God was upon him. He knew that he was commissioned for whatever he came to do in the human body.

Let me bring you back home. God asks the Judges in Psalm 82:6 whether they do not know that they are gods. I resound the question to you, don't you know that you are a god made by the great God in Heaven? Finally, 1John 4:17 finishes by saying that as Christ is, so are we in this world.
Do you know that?
This, therefore should sort out some of the the things you struggle believing God for. Understanding this will help change your prayer quality.
You will stop casting and binding demons everytime while you can use that precious time to just have cmmunion with God and download from the throne of Grace. You will stop hopping from conference to another so that you can get deliverance prayers.

If you struggle understanding this post, please check on how much time you have taken to build your faith, as the basic, and foundational thing.

01/06/2025

Throughout this week, the Spirit of the Lord has been whispering something to me. I was, however, slothful to get it, and today during church service, He showed it to me practically.

God has been talking to me about the importance of having my body systems align with his word and obey his time. Our bodies operate on feelings. You will ask for food because your body feels hungry. It will communicate the feelings to your brain and then you'll figure out how to get food for it. Your body will feel tired, exhausted or even painful. It will communicate to your brain the same and the brain will find a solution to the challenge. Similarly, when you say you want to go to the washroom for a long/short call, it is because your body has felt something that does not have to be in there and has to be excreted immediately. Your brain has been created as a powerful tool to work for you. You know we have the mind of Christ, right? 1 Cor 2:16, 1 Pet 4:12.
We will discuss the brain topic in relation to the mind of Christ next time.

So your brain will find possibilities of getting a washroom so you can ease yourself.
But check this out;
Do you know that the reasons we keep moving out of service in church entail running to the washroom, picking a phone call and/or “just relaxing yourself” then come back in after a while?.
Did you also know that every movement you make out of service distracts the move of God during service time, first for yourself, then to your fellow congregants? This is not because the spirit of the Lord can be distracted -Because no one can instruct God 1Cor 2:16, and He is all-powerful-
But it is because you detour yourself and your neighbours from concentration. This is the trick of the devil for you not to get the word in its full entirety because he knows what you will become and what he will be turned to when the word diffuses into you.

Over time, I have learnt that I can train my body and brain to be dormant to feelings, and get them surrendered to the word and time for communion with God. I have learnt that my bladder may be full. The body may have tried to send signals to the brain so that I can ‘excuse’ myself for a minute, bit because they have been rendered powerless by the presence and the word of God, they cannot move me. I will sit in a service from the inception of it to the end without moving out.
That's me. Once I set my foot in the presence whether in the sanctuary of corporate worship, or during my own communion with God, I will not move out till the session is done. My systems know that it is time for God.

You can train yourself to tarry in that place for the time you have to be there without being destructed. Your body was made by God. It MUST be subject to God.
That is what the Lord was reminding me today. That I can tarry in a church service from the start to the end without having to pop out to relax or run to the washroom.

How does is start? Learn to pray in the Spirit, and to speak in tongues. It will help you hear God's voice over your body's.

You don't know how you can hear God's voice?
