ST. PAULS DAY CELEBRATION

Today, Sun 28th June 2026, we marked the St. Paul's Day Celebration with a formal gathering at the Parish Headquarters.

The program had a Baptism Service during which 2 youths were baptized into the Christian faith. This was followed by a Holy Communion Service presided by the Vicar. The Archdeacon, Ven. Capt. Patrick Achieng, led the Back to School Prayers for students as they prepare to return to school.

The celebration concluded with a shared feast, which began with a cake cutting session.

SUCCESSFUL YOUTHS COUNSELING, DIALOGUE & BACK TO SCHOOL PRAYERS

Today, Saturday 27th June 2026, over 50 parish youths gathered at ACK St. Barnabas Buyende Church for YOUTHS' COUNSELING SESSION & OPEN FORUM & BACK TO SCHOOL PRAYERS.

We thank God for guiding our Youths during the event. The sessions were led by the parish KAYO Department and featured great speakers and panellists including, Ven. Capt. Patrick Achieng- Archdeacon, L/Canon Phanice Shimuli- Former Principal Lwanya Girls & Synod member, Eva. Philes Museve- Evangelist Busende Parish, Mr. Odaka Fedinand - YM, Mr. Peter Oyasi- Youths Mentor, Mrs. Magret Oyasi- Guiding and Counseling Chair and Nobert Mudeyi- Youths Mission Chair.

Topics covered include: Identity Crisis and Purpose of Life, Theme Exposition, Peer Influence & Life at School, Resource Mobilization & Youths Development, Relationships and Dating, Anglicanism among others.

Youths were called on to embrace Technology, receive salvation, avoid burning institutions and grow the sanctuary.

We bless the Lord for the support and care in our prayer and fasting sessions ongoing at ACK St. Paul Busende Church. We witnessed large turn out during the day and we are joined by at least 21 Christians tonight.
