EDUCATION WEEK
Day 3 of Education Week was marked by impactful mentorship, service, and community support across our parish institutions.
1. Mentorship Sessions
We successfully conducted mentorship programs in three schools within the parish. Over six qualified speakers facilitated the sessions, engaging students on topics of academic excellence, personal development, Self Awareness, WASH, career guidance, and Christian values.
2. Health and Hygiene Support
In line with our commitment to student welfare, we donated hand washing solutions to the participating schools. A permanent hand washing station was also installed at Busende Senior School. Additionally, sanitary towels were distributed to female students at Busende Senior School to support their health and dignity. Thanks to our Christians for the Support and to Our partners Kenya Red Cross Society .
3. Environmental Conservation
Yesterday, 14th May, (Day 2 Education Week) over 300 tree seedlings were donated to schools and the church as part of our ongoing environmental conservation initiative and support for the national tree-growing program.
4. Upcoming Activity
Tomorrow, we will visit vulnerable members of our community. The visit will include prayer, fellowship, and material support as we extend Christβs love and care beyond the classroom. On Friday 15th May, we will join the President, H.E William Samoei Ruto at ACK Nambale Diocese for the launch of the Education Foundation.
We thank God for the progress so far, and appreciate all speakers, partners, and volunteers who made todayβs activities a success.
