BRETHREN,
The sincerity of a *husband* is known during the sickness of his wife. That of a *wife* is known during the financial difficulty of the husband. True love of *children* is known during the old age of the parents.

The true nature of *siblings* is known during distribution of inheritance.

The *sincerity* of friends is known during hard times.

The *true relatives* are known when one is far from his country, lonely or sick.

*True love* is known when there is no means of benefit & a *true believer* is known during times of hardship.

In all, life is the teacher itself*. May we grow in wisdom, understanding and patience. 🙏

1. *Be* careful so you don't *hate* a *lovely* *person* , because of a *dirty rumour* you heard about them which was created out of *jealousy* and *envy* .

2. *Try* to *appreciate* those who *gossip* about *you* . It's not easy for *someone* to *leave* their *problems* and *carry* yours on their *head* .

3. *Forgive* _betrayals_ but be *careful* with *them* ,because next time they may not *spare* your *life* .

4. *Even* if you kill *yourself* for some *people*, they will still *complain* that you didn't *die* in a *proper* way. Do your *best* and *leave* the *rest* , you can't *satisfy* _human beings_ .

5. *If* you are always *worried* about what *others* are saying about *you* , you will *never* be *happy*.

6. *When* your _blessings_ are getting *closer* , your *attacks* become *greater*. Don't look at the *storm*, *God* is the controller of all things he created, and is by your *side*, you're a victor.

7. Everybody cannot *love* you, don't *lose* your *peace* over those who *hate* you.
Those who *convinced* people to hate you cannot *convince God* to *hate* you.

8. Stay connected to God always.

Have confidence in God for with God all things are possible.........
He is our very present help in times of trouble.

FACTS ABOUT THE MIDNIGHT HOUR

HAVE YOU EVER PRAYED AT MIDNIGHT?.
HERE ARE FACTS about MIDNIGHT PRAYERS.
1). MIDNIGHT is a time of *TRANSITION*, from one day to another. *GOD ALMIGHTY* can bring a *TRANSITION* in your life as you pray at *MIDNIGHT*.
2). *MIDNIGHT* is a time of *GREAT SPECIAL ACTIVITIES BOTH GOOD AND EVIL*. Destinies of men/women are shaped and interrupted at *MIDNIGHT*. If you are not shaping your *DESTINY at MIDNIGHT*, then somebody may interrupt your life at *MIDNIGHT*.
3). At a natural level, *GREAT VICTORIES* have been won when nations were caught by surprise as their armies were asleep at *MIDNIGHT*. Satan launches attacks at *MIDNIGHT*, he feeds people in their *DREAMS at MIDNIGHT; he RAPES* others in their dream as they are asleep at *MIDNIGHT* etc.
4). *GREAT CALAMITIES are SPIRITUALLY EFFECTED at MIDNIGHT. GOD ALMIGHTY* waited till *MIDNIGHT* to execute judgment on Egypt: *(Exodus 11:4-6)* Then Moses said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘About *MIDNIGHT* I will go out into the midst of Egypt; and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the female servant who is behind the hand mill, and all the firstborn of the animals.
5). *MIDNIGHT* is the time people are *MOST VULNERABLE TO SPIRITUAL ATTACKS*. It is the hour when enemies lay siege and render people *DEFENSELESS*. It is also the time that you can *LAUNCH A DEADLY, SURPRISE ATTACK* on your enemies’ camp.
6). As a *CHRISTIAN*, you can break open *CLOSED DOORS*, as you pray at *MIDNIGHT*. Samson lay low till *MIDNIGHT*, then he arose at *MIDNIGHT*, took hold of the doors of the gate of the city and the two gateposts, pulled them up, bar and all, put them on his shoulders, and carried them to the top of the hill that faces Hebron. *(Judges 16:3)*
7). *MYSTERIOUS* things, happen the most at *MIDNIGHT*. Have you lost anything or anyone very dear to you under *MYSTERIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES?*
Chances are that the operation was carried out at the *MIDNIGHT HOUR*. Remember the harlot in Solomon’s time who lost her child by sleeping on him at *MIDNIGHT,* and at *MIDNIGHT* she stole her friend’s child:
*1 Kings 3:20(KJV)* And she arose at *MIDNIGHT*, and took my son from beside me, while your handmaid slept, and laid him in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom.
8). *GREAT SPIRITUAL TRANSACTIONS*, happens at *MIDNIGHT*. Solomon got wisdom from *GOD ALMIGHTY at MIDNIGHT*. If you are not receiving something good at *MIDNIGHT*, then chances are high, that there are evil changes happening against you at *MIDNIGHT*.
9). *VERY WICKED OPERATIONS HAPPENS at MIDNIGHT* but we can change them. We must arise and fight. *WE MUST WAKE-UP AND PRAY. IF WE DO*, we can have great impact in our *SOCIETIES AND CHURCHES*.
10). David, the man who never lost a single battle in all his life, has this to say: *At MIDNIGHT,* I will rise and give thanks to You, because of your righteous judgments. *Psalm 119:62)* what excuse do you have? Do you say, “I wish I arise but I’ll be tired”? Do you have a busier schedule than that of *KING DAVID (PRESIDENT OF THE NATION OF ISRAEL)?*. I don’t think so.
11) Do you know better than what *PAUL AND SILAS KNEW?* Who praised and worshipped *GOD ALMIGHTY at MIDNIGHT*, but at *MIDNIGHT, PAUL AND SILAS WERE PRAYING AND SINGING HYMNS TO GOD ALMIGHTY*, and the prisoners were listening to them. *SUDDENLY* there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken, and *IMMEDIATELY all the doors were opened and EVERYONE'S CHAINS WERE LOOSED. (Acts 16:25-26)*
12). *MIDNIGHT* is the best time to make *SERIOUS INTERCESSION*. And *JESUS CHRIST* said to them, which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at *MIDNIGHT* and say to him, Friend, lend me three loaves, for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him, And he will answer from within and say, Do not trouble me, the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed, I cannot rise and give it to you? I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he’s his friend, yet because of his *PERSISTENCE* he will rise and give him as many as he needs. *(Luke 11:5-8)*
13). Praying at *MIDNIGHT* is a *SACRIFICE* that will not go *UNREWARDED.
GOD ALMIGHTY sees our DESPERATION through the SACRIFICES we make to HIM*.
My prayer is that the *LORD JESUS CHRIST* will help us to understand that when we are *ASLEEP*, Satan and his demons aren’t asleep but they are *BUSY LAUNCHING ARROWS AT US*.
May the *LORD* help us to understand that there are *SERIOUS ACTIVITIES that takes place at MIDNIGHT*, much of which are against us. May the * LORD JESUS CHRIST* help us and deliver us from *SPIRITUAL LAZINESS*, so that we can *RISE UP TO DEFEND OUR INHERITANCE and TAKE BACK what the devil has STOLEN from us in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST*.

May *GOD BLESS YOU AS YOU MAKE PRAYING AT MIDNIGHT A MUST AS THE LORD HELPS YOU AND I.
MAY YOUR NIGHT NOT BE USED TO TIGHTEN YOUR DESTINY BUT LOOSEN IT. AMEN.

CHARACTER ASSASSINATION

One mistake you should never make in life, is to allow yourself to be recruited by someone, to hate another person who hasn't wronged you.

Hear this: “ We must avoid taking hasty conclusion because of what others are saying about someone else.."

What people say about others, says a lot about them. I am repeating this more directly:

The things you say about others, says a lot about you! I can tell a lot about a person by what they choose to see in others.

Character assassination is a pervasive and destructive phenomenon that is found everywhere.

You find it in families, places of worship, organizations, work places, etc.

Character assassination is the deliberate, malicious, unjustified and sustained effort to damage the reputation or credibility of an individual.

Character assassination is the slandering of a person usually with the intention of destroying public confidence in that person.

“Character Assassination” is the act of lowering one’s character in a bid to ruin the character of others.

There are people that take maximum delight in ruining other's reputation.

These set of people have what I will like to call ‘Destructive Tendencies’. They oil their own ego by pulling other people down. PhD(pull him down).

False allegations are the most chronic form of mental abuse. When people can’t kill your dreams and purpose, they will try to assassinate your character.

There are some people that your spirit will always irritate their demons! Once they realize hating isn’t working they start telling and spreading lies about you.

People are assassinated once but ‘Character Assassination’ kills daily!

Character assassination is a form of emotional violence against others.

Someone once said, “A friend of my enemy is my enemy.”

One of the things that hinders us from living a fulfilling and inclusive life is bringing past bias and sentiments into present relationships. A friend of your enemy is not necessarily your enemy; it all depends on intentions and contributions. God can use your enemy’s friend to bless you!`

7 critical ‘DON’Ts’ that you really need to guard yourself against.

```Refusing to getting trapped in them will help you live a more productive, fulfilling and unbiased life. They are:

1. Don’t conclude about people because of what others say about them: Never draw up conclusions based on what others tell you about someone. It is a lack of social intelligence that makes people draw conclusions on others based on what other people say about them. I know you’ve heard about emotional and financial intelligence, but there is something called social intelligence.

This is the kind of intelligence that keeps you sane even when others are trying to pollute your mind against someone else until you have thoroughly confirmed the veracity of the claims before you. Judges are trained to have this kind of intelligence in order to avoid biased judgments.

2. Don’t inherit other people’s enemy: It is total lack of education and enlightenment when you automatically make your friend’s enemies your own. Don’t make people your enemies just because they are not in good terms with your friends.

3. Don’t use your children as weapons of war:
God can use your enemies to bless your children Stop using them to fight those you don’t like.

Your children will need to discern their enemies for themselves; never use your parental influence to make your children hate others. You may often need to guard them with their choice of friends but never plant the seed of discord in the heart of your children against someone else.

4. Don’t gang up with others to hate someone: Don’t join the majority to hate someone – you may realize that the person has no offence. Someone said, “If you don’t see it with your own eyes, or hear it with your own ears. Don’t invent it with your small mind and share it with your big
mouth”. Never join the multitude to hate someone else.

5. Don’t be used as weapon in other people’s battle: It is not every battle that you must involve yourself in. Refuse to be used as weapons in other people’s battle. When people fight dirty, refuse to take sides. Observe deeply before concluding finally.

6. Don’t hate people just because they don’t behave like you: That someone is not your tribe doesn’t make them your enemy.

It is a waste of education if the only people you like are those that are like you. The greatest proof of our education is in how we respond to people whose opinions are different from ours. People who think their opinions are superior to others are most prone to overestimating their relevant knowledge and ignoring chances to learn more.

The people who don’t think like you are your greatest source of enlightenment. It is normally people that are not like us that help us grow the most. Companies that had maximized growth are really those that value diversity and inclusion.

7. Don’t judge people until you know the whole story: Someone once said, “Beware of the half-truth.

You may have gotten hold of the wrong half”. Don’t judge other people’s choices without understanding their reasons.
If people say something bad about you or judge you as if they know you, don’t easily get affected. Remember this, dogs bark if they don’t know the person.

People who are intimidated by you talk about you with hopes that others won’t find you so appealing.

Stay away from people who talk bad about others daily; these kind of people carry a negative spirit, and a negative spirit is contagious. The real problem is not that they are unhappy about others, but they are unhappy with themselves.

Stop the destructive habit of talking about people behind their back. Talking badly about someone else while they aren’t there to defend themselves says more about you than the person you’re talking about.

When you have issues with people, try and discuss it with them. Stop discussing it with others. Someone once said, “Don’t talk about me until you have talked to me”. Stop spreading false information and rumours about others.

*Rumours are carried by haters, spread by fools and accepted by idiots! Stop creating walls of contention, rather help build bridges of understanding among people.*

WHAT FAITH IS ALL ABOUT
Faith is Staying in peace knowing that God wouldn’t have allowed it if He wasn’t going to use it for your good.
It may not feel good, but this is where you have to show God what you’re made of.
Anyone can be happy when things are going their way.
Anyone can thank God when doors are opening, anyone can thank God when there jobs and businesses are going on well, anyone can thank God when everything around you seems to be pleasant, anyone can thank God when things are good all around you but if you want to pass His test and see His faithfulness and favor in new ways,
you have to thank Him when it doesn’t work out.
You have to thank Him when nothing seems not to be happening.
You have to have a chearful heart and continue rejoicing when you could be complaining and mummering.
You have to be good to others when others are not being good to you.
This is what faith is all about.

In this life it is very easy to get discouraged and live stressed. “God, when are You going to turn this around, when am I going to meet someone to help, when is my business going to grow, when are these people at work going to treat me better?”
There is a place of peace.
God is that place of peace.
God sees what you’re going through.
He knows what you need.
He knows your dreams, your goals.
He is the one that put them in you. What He has purposed for your life will come to pass, no matter how long it will take, no matter the storms, no matter who is saying what against you, no matter those things that are trying to fight you.
What He has purposed for your life will come to pass.

Happy new year to all, in the year 2022 continue to stay in faith, don’t let the lack of evidence convince you that nothing is happening.
In the unseen realm, things are changing in your favor. Forces that have stopped you in the past have been broken. The roots have been cut off of that depression, that addiction, that sickness. It may look like it’s alive and nothing has changed, but stay in faith. It’s just a matter of time before you’re going to see what God promised.

There is a reward for going through difficulties with a good attitude. We would be grateful if God just brought us back to where we were, but when you go through challenges in faith with your head held high, knowing that God is fighting your battles, then a reward is coming. You’re not just going to come out; you’re going to come out better.

OUR FAILURES AS PASTORS
As I was pondering and meditating on the position and positioning of the church of Christ in these perilous times, I flashed back and began questioning how we, as preachers, prepared or failed to prepare the church for these hard times and eventually the eternal destiny. I am thinking that perhaps:
1. We spent more time prophesying visas, jobs, marriages, promotions and prosperity instead of preparing people for heaven.
2. We probably spent more resources on building churches and mega cathedrals other than preaching the gospel and building disciples.
3. We trained Christians to depend more on the "man" or "woman" of God than the Word of God. When churches get locked believers can hardly stand on their own.
4. We reduced our focus from heavenly eternity to a comfortable life here on earth - cars, houses, jobs, spouses, visas to others countries, etc.
5. Worldly lifestyle got fused with the church. We accommodated and justified it in the name of modernity and liberty.
6. We persistently asked our congregations to sow seed so that we can live lavishly instead of encouraging them to invest in heavenly treasures.
7. We skipped preaching sermons on sin, righteousness and holiness for fear of offending our premium members. We became more of motivational speakers than teachers of the Word of God.
8. We gathered large crowds and called them congregations with no idea of who they are, where and how they live and/work, how their spiritual lives are except for a few front benchers. Pastoring as a ministry is largely neglected.
9. In these times, we as church leaders should be giving nations spiritual SOPs from the throne of God. But we are quietly and obediently following political SOPs with a sprinkle of health tips. We have failed to mobilize the nation for national prayers and fasting. Instead we have left political leaders to organise national prayer breakfasts.
10. We as church leaders may fail to do a self examination and instead stone me for my thoughts. Anyway, at the end of it all we will give accountability to the appointing Authority INDIVIDUALLY.
I have deliberately stayed clear from scriptures because I did not want to ignite a theological debate. May the spirit of God speak to us individually and whatever touches you,Time is no more. If nothing concerns you, just move on. Be blessed.
