We thank God for the day he made that we rejoiced and be glad in.
It was soo awesome being in the presence of God. Intercession and hearing the word of God from Pastor David Sabwa we were blessed and our life being transformed through His word.

The word was from
Ephesians 6:10-12
Finally be strong in the Lord and in His Mighty Power.
Put on the full Armour of God so that you can stand against devil schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

🌍AN EFFECTIVE PRAYER LIFE 🌍


*_"Then He spake a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart" (Luke 18:1 NKJV)._*

The Lord Jesus was very prayerful when He walked the earth. The Bible says, *_"In the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed"_* (Mark 1:35). In another instance, Luke recorded that *_"...he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God"_* (Luke 6:12). He had an effective prayer life, which the Bible enjoins us to emulate.

He said in Luke 18:1, *_"...men ought always to pray, and not to faint."_* The Apostle Paul reiterated the same thing; he said, *_"Pray without ceasing"_* (1 Thessalonians 5:17). In 1 Timothy 2:8, he said, *_"I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting."_* This is God's admonition to us. We're to live a life of prayer. How important this is!

Having an effective prayer life isn't just so we could fulfil somereligious obligations, no! This is where a lot of people miss it. First, prayer is a privilege; it's a right given to us to communicate with the Father in faith, through His Word, and by the Holy Ghost. That opportunity that's given to us to pray is something the Father always wants us to seize.

Secondly, when Jesus said men ought always to pray and not to faint, He was looking at the connection that we have with the Father in our constant communication that builds faith. Faith comes by hearing the Word (Romans 10:17). Through that fellowship, we keep hearing the Word because the Father always speaks; He always talks to us; He always shares His Word with us.

That's why Paul taught us to pray, *_"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen"_* (2 Corinthians 13:14). The word *"communion"* is translated from the Greek *"Koinonia,"* which also means fellowship. Learn to take time away from everything else to talk to the Lord in prayer; it'll bring an extraordinary transformation into your life that you never thought possible.

ON THE CROSS!

On the cross, the God of “In the beginning” said “It is finished!”

On the cross, the serpent that deceived the first Adam was defeated by the second Adam.

On the cross, the Son of David decapitated the Goliath of sin!

On the cross, we escaped the Egypt of eternal condemnation and stepped into promise of eternal salvation.

On the cross the walls of failure collapsed in the presence of the shout of forgiveness.

On the cross, mercy triumphed over judgment.
On the cross, perfect love expelled all fear.
On the cross, grace became sufficient.
On the cross, light overcame darkness.
On the cross, and the anointing destroyed the yoke!

On the cross, Truth set us free.
On the cross, hope made a way.
On the cross, life became eternal
On the cross, and listen haters, Love WON!

*LET NOTHING CORRUPT YOU*
*(It Matters Those You Form Associations With) ~

*_"Be not deceived: evil COMMUNICATIONS corrupt good manners" (1 Corinthians 15:33 KJV)._*

The word translated, *"communications"* above is the Greek *"Homilia"* and it has to do with such conversation or communion that's coming from companionship and those you associate with. The effect, in the context of our opening verse, shows the importance of being mindful of your associations; those you listen to and relate with can corrupt your life.

When you study the verses preceding our theme verse, the Apostle Paul gives us the picture of certain people who had been teaching others that there isn't going to be a resurrection. Listening to such false teachings, the Bible says, can give a corrupt mindset. Don't receive counsel from just anyone, neither should you read every book or listen to every preacher you see on TV. The Bible says to prove every doctrine; it's the reason you must study and know the Scriptures for yourself, so you're not tossed around by every wind of doctrine. Your behaviour and life would be greatly affected by their communication (Ephesians 4:14).

You may think the communication or information being passed to you is harmless. But it's akin to somebody sowing the wrong seeds in your garden, while you simply look on. Those seeds would certainly grow. You may say, *"I'm just listening or reading the book; I really don't believe the message."* Don't be deceived; they're sowing seeds into your life that'll reproduce.

Let the wisdom of God guide you in choosing your friends, those you move with, those who inspire you to greatness and excellence, and those who inspire the best in you to fulfil God's purpose for your life. If someone, whom you may even respect, tells you something you know isn't consistent with the Word, reject it. Accept only that which is consistent with the word of righteousness in Christ Jesus.

What a Sunday Bsp Patrick taught about the BLOOD of JESUS and having Holy Communion together Halleluyah it was awesome in the presence of the Lord.
