𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗪𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝗦 𝗪𝗔𝗬

🔴Marriage is one of the most significant commitments in life. For Christians, it is also a divine covenant.

🔴Loving your wife is not just about feelings but about fulfilling God’s Word.

🔴Drawing from Ephesians 5, the Bible commands, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it.”

☀️This teaching offers a higher standard of love, one rooted in selflessness, service, and spiritual responsibility.

🔴When you follow God’s design, your marriage can be a place of joy, strength, and blessing.

🔴Love as Christ loved the Church.

🔴The love of Christ for the Church is the perfect model for husbands.

🔴Christ gave Himself completely, not seeking His own benefit but the good of His bride. In the same way, a husband is called to love sacrificially.

🔴This love is not about criticizing or finding fault in your wife. Instead, it is about nurturing, uplifting, and supporting her.

🔷Don’t tell your wife she’s not presentable, Make her presentable.

🔴Just as Christ sanctifies and beautifies the Church, a husband should invest in his wife’s growth and confidence.

🔴This means encouraging her spiritually, emotionally, and even in practical matters, just as Christ cares for every need of His people.

☀️CHOOSING WHOM TO MARRY

🔴Many people focus on marrying someone they “love enough.” But love at the time of marriage is not the full picture. The real test is loving the person enough to stay committed for a lifetime.

🔴The Bible never says, “Marry someone you love.” Instead, it says, “Love your wife” and “Love your husband.” The priority is not starting with romantic feelings but seeking God’s guidance for whom to marry.

🔴Once God leads you to the right person, you are then called to love them fully and faithfully.

🔴This is the foundation of a lasting and God-centered marriage.

☀️MARRIAGE REQUIRES GOD'S BLESSING

🔴Seek the blessing of God before marriage. This includes involving spiritual leadership, informing your pastor or other church leaders before making such a life-changing decision.

🔴Marriage is not simply a private arrangement but a covenant before God. Entering into it with prayer and blessing sets the right spiritual foundation.

🔴Once the vows are made, the success of the marriage is determined by the couple and God, not by outside opinions.

🔴Success in marriage is not measured by human definitions of happiness but by whether both partners live according to God’s will.

☀️BUILDING A SUCCESSFUL LIFE TOGETHER

🔴Living a successful life in Christ is the best preparation for a successful marriage.

🔴When both partners focus on their spiritual growth, their union will naturally reflect God’s love.

🔴The Bible contains all the wisdom needed for a strong relationship.

🔴By applying biblical principles, patience, forgiveness, respect, and love couples can create a home filled with peace and purpose.

🔴A husband who loves his wife as his own body, as the Bible commands, will treat her with honor and care. This type of love not only strengthens the marriage but also glorifies God.

☀️CALL TO ACTION FOR HUSBANDS

🔴Think beyond the world’s definition of love. Real love is active, it serves, uplifts, and sacrifices. It is more than words; it is demonstrated in actions that reflect Christ’s care for the Church.

🔴Husbands must take responsibility for their role in the marriage, making intentional efforts to support and cherish their wives. This includes spiritual leadership, open communication, and daily acts of kindness.

🔴Loving your wife is not just a marital duty, it is a reflection of your walk with God.

🔴When a husband loves his wife in God’s way, the home becomes a place where both can

𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐆𝐄 𝐈𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐘 𝐁𝐔𝐓 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐘

🔴Chemistry is a feeling or attraction towards someone and it’s stimulated by innermost chemical reactions within oneself as a result of physical appearance or character display of the other person.

🔴Anytime we meet someone that is fit into the image of the kind of partner we desired, a chemical reaction is stimulated, therefore creating attractions between the persons.

🔴Those chemical reaction will somehow short down ones senses or a part of their brain from reasoning normally, therefore causing them to behave in an abnormal way, which we called love.

🔴This is the reason why some people get madly in love and can’t be separated. This happens in new relationships. No matter what you do, you can’t stop that kind of relationship. Some will even have problem with anyone that try to get in between them, even their parents.

🔴Those chemicals are about 70% to 80% in an early stage of a relationship but reduces with time, to about 25% to 20% or less. This is where many relationships end because their senses will be reactivated and their brain will come alive. Then the light of reality is turned on. 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓'𝐒 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃 “𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐈𝐒 𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐃” 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌.

🔴Understand you cannot control this chemical reactions. They are naturally created by God. But you can control them through the quality of information you allow into your mind. The information you have about love will determine your chemistry. If your standards for a partner are wrong, the chemical will react base on false equation, therefore creating a false love.

🔴Have the right orientation about love from God’s word.

🔴Marriage is all about destiny, and not chemistry.

🔴Chemistry will fade away with time but destiny will last forever.

🔴Destiny is simply a destination and marriage is a journey.

🔴There’s no need for marriage If there’s no specified destination.

🔴As a lady, the man you married has a lot to do with your destiny, since man is the head of the family.

🔴If the destination of that man is not where you want to end up, don’t get into the marriage.

🔴Forget the money or the chemistry, follow the destiny.

🔴If the destiny is right, money and chemistry will surface automatically. Remain blessed.

𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗚𝗢𝗗

But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer (Luke 5:16 NLT).

There’s something about solitude. If you don’t understand the value of solitude, there’s a lot that you can miss in life. It’s so important to have personal times alone with God. Before revelation comes isolation. When you learn the value of having private times of fellowship with the Lord, you’ll be amazed at the transformation that’ll take place in your life and how effective you’d be in the things of God.

Never take your private times with the Lord lightly. Maybe you have some people that every now and then are at your door because they need to see you or speak with you about one thing or the other. Be smart. If you spend most of your time in casual or vain chatter with others and spend lesser time fellowshipping with the Spirit, you’re not going to accomplish much in life.

Jesus understood the value and power of privacy with God. In Matthew 14:23, the Bible says, “And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.” Our theme verse shows us that He did this often: “But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer” (Luke 5:16 NLT). At the time everyone was clamouring for His attention, He withdrew into the wilderness to pray. PRACTISE BEING ALONE WITH GOD

In fact, on a certain occasion, He “escaped” to go and pray, and they were looking for Him. The Bible says, “And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. And Simon and they that were with him followed after him” (Mark 1:35-36). Practise this. Make the effort to have your personal times with God every day.

Say these words after me, 'Dear Father, as I spend time with you in fellowship, the intensity of your glory in my life is increased; I’m transfigured from glory to glory. I experience victory, divine health and blessings! My life is an expression of your supernatural grace, glory, perfection, beauty and righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

*THEME:* *”PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT”*

_*”Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26).”*_

Praying in the Spirit is the most effective way for us to pray as Christians. But praying in the Spirit is in two parts. The first is when your spirit prays by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, giving you words in the Spirit in other tongues. As you pray in those tongues, your spirit is energised, built up like a towering edifice: Jude 1:20, _*“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.”*_

1 Corinthians 14:4 says, _*“He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself....”*_ This is why we tell God’s people to speak in tongues a lot. It keeps your spirit, soul and body supercharged with the power of God. You’re edified, fortified, strengthened with might in your inner man by the Spirit. Hallelujah!

But then there’s also a second level of praying in the Spirit that’s also of great blessing and benefit. This time, it’s not your spirit that’s praying but the Holy Spirit Himself praying or making intercession through you. That’s what we read in our opening scripture.

In the first one, He gives you utterance, you speak words in tongues. But in this case, there’s no utterance; you don’t speak in a known or unknown language; rather, what comes out of you are deep sighs and groanings of the Spirit. At that level, the Holy Spirit takes over completely, praying through you in perfect harmony with the will of the Father.

When you allow the Holy Spirit to intercede through you this way, the result is always glorious. The scripture says, _*“...He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit...”*_ (Romans 8:27). It’s not your mind or your understanding; it’s the Spirit’s mind being expressed through you. The ensuing verse 28 reveals part of the outcome, _*“...all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”*_ Yielding to the Holy Spirit to intercede through you causes all things to align and work out in your favour, including adverse or challenging situations. That’s the power of praying in the Spirit, amongst several other blessings and benefits. Hallelujah!

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the precious gift of the Holy Spirit, who helps me to pray according to your perfect will. Even now, as I pray in the Spirit, I’m filled with your power, and my life is aligned with your purpose, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

Romans 8:26-28 AMPC *“So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God's will. We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.”*

SPEAK FAITH—FILLED WORDS!

We must continue to hold firmly to our declaration of faith. The one who made the promise is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23 GW)

Your words have power! When you speak with faith, great things happen. That’s why it’s important to always speak God’s Word—not your fears or feelings.

When you say, “I’m strong,” even when you feel weak, you’re using your faith. When you say, “God supplies all my needs,” you’re declaring His truth—and it changes everything!

So, don’t speak doubt or fear. Keep your words full of faith and life every day!
