1. Lord let the souls of men be won to your kingdom; may your spirit sustain their faith and union with you in truth and righteousness.

2. We pray for journey mercies for all travelers as they come and return in safety. No one shall be counted missing. We cancel every evil report in Jesus name.

🌟 Pentecost Devotion – the Pentacost 🌟

Scripture:
Acts 2:2 NIV - Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

What is pentacost -Pentecost is a significant event marking the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and other followers of Jesus.

Why pentecost matters
This event is significant because it marks the beginning of the Holy Spirit's descent upon the disciples, as prophesied by Joel and as promised by Jesus. It is also a key part of the narrative of the early Christian church and the spread of the Gospel.

why Pentacost is important
it marks the day when the Holy Spirit was poured out on all believers, fulfilling Jesus' promise that he would send them another advocate
At Pentecost, through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, people from every tongue, race, and nation are brought together in Jesus Christ

Biblical Example:Biblical Narrative:
In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit is described as descending like a rushing wind and with tongues of fire, enabling the apostles to speak in other languages.
Christian Significance:
The Christian Pentecost celebrates the fulfillment of Jesus' promise to send the Holy Spirit, empowering his followers to be his witnesses to the world.

Encouragement Today:
Maybe you’re in a season where it feels hard to praise. But choose to pentacost night—lift your hands and thank God in advance for your breakthrough. Your pentacost could be the key that unlocks your miracle.

Prayer:
Lord, today I choose to pentacost . I lift my hands in surrender and thanksgiving. You are worthy of all praise, in every season. Let my worship rise as a sweet offering to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Beware of Those Close to You

The devil disguises himself as an angel of light. Delilah pretended to love Samson while secretly plotting his downfall. Judas acted as a friend to Jesus while secretly conspiring to betray Him.

Some people are only interested in what they can gain from you. Many followed Jesus just for bread, not for true transformation. They praised Him one day and crucified Him the next.

But don’t be suspicious of everyone. Be wise and discerning. Lost sheep and wolves are mixed in the world. Jesus cautioned us to remain pure yet discerning—to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

Not everyone in your circle is meant to walk with you to the finish line. Some are distractions, intent on slowing you down or leading you astray. That’s why you must guard your heart and protect your destiny.

Pay attention to patterns, not just words. A true friend sharpens you, not drags you down. They celebrate your growth, not envy your success. They push you closer to God, not away.

Dear modern Christian, you can not live the way you want. Sin is just sin. Rebellion is just rebellion. The bible does not call sin a weakness, the devil does! Active or passive, sin is just sin! Nomatter how we brand it , it is just sin. Adultery is just sin as much as lying is. You can have a band of like minded people support you in what you call a weakness but God’s view of it will never change. We normalise our perception of sin we live it comfortably and confidently so we think God will be lienient to us because we are in ministry. You say one should not judge! It is well. But dont forget what true love does! I implore us to walk honorably before the Lord. Thats why we are friends. Thats why we are in this platform. If we are overtaken by temptation, let us not be too proud to repent and seek forgiveness. Its never too late when we can confidently come before its too late instead of justifying our condition and demonizing attempts by loving brothers and friends.
