'Thankfulness!'

Once upon a time, there was a wealthy man who owned a large estate and many possessions. He had everything he could ever want but was never satisfied. He always wanted more, and nothing seemed to make him happy.

One day, a poor farmer came to him, seeking help. The wealthy man was feeling generous that day and decided to give the farmer a small plot of land. The farmer was overjoyed and thanked the wealthy man profusely. He promised to work hard and make the most of the opportunity given to him.

Months went by, and the wealthy man forgot about the farmer and the land he had given him. One day, he decided to visit the farmer and see how he was doing. As he walked through the fields, he was amazed by what he saw. The once barren land was now covered with lush green crops, and the farmer was smiling from ear to ear.

The wealthy man was filled with envy and regret. He realized that the farmer had something he didn't have - a heart full of thankfulness. The farmer was grateful for the little he had been given and had worked hard to make the most of it. The wealthy man, on the other hand, was never satisfied and always wanted more.

From that day on, the wealthy man made a conscious effort to be thankful for what he had and to appreciate the people in his life. He learned that true happiness comes from within and that material possessions can never bring lasting fulfillment.

The moral of the story is that being thankful for what we have, no matter how little, can bring us great joy and happiness. We should never take anything for granted and always be grateful for the blessings in our lives.

SEVEN KINDS OF ASSISTANT PASTORS THE LEADER MUST NOT JOKE WITH:

THEY ARE THE BIGGEST GIFT TO THE SET MAN:

WE HARDLY CELEBRATE THEM, BECAUSE THEY ARE ALWAYS NOT VERY SKILLFUL AND CHARISMATIC:

BUT THEY ARE YOUR BIGGEST ASSET:

This group of people is in every ministry.

1. The Assistant Pastor that knows you after the flesh, but still follows you after the spirit.

2. The assistant pastor you can offend and you are sure he won't overreact. Or even react at all.

3. The assistant pastor you can demote for no good reason and he will still be committed to the ministry as though nothing happened.

4. The assistant pastor that is redeployed to serve his juniors in ministry without resigning or reacting. Tell that his junior, to go and serve another junior officer and you will have a crisis to manage.

5. The assistant Pastor, you have not helped financially, yet very committed to the ministry. The loyalty of this one is not bought.

6. The assistant pastor that has seen all his mates, colleagues and generation of Pastors leave you, but still decided to stay with you, as though nobody left you. This person is the reason why so many still believe you are not the way the other ones painted you.

7. The assistant pastor with a wife that is very peaceful and contented. She may not be seen jumping around the First Lady of the Church. But in her little corner, her integrity is not in doubt. Some of these eye service women, won't think twice when their husband wants to leave you. They won't even tell you their husbands plan to leave you.

Now reach out to that your Assistant Pastor that fits into this description and bless him with a gift.

Be blessed.

1. There are many things more precious than money
It is easy to be enslaved by the mindset that money is the most imperative treasure in the society. Money is always transient, just like most things in life. It comes and goes, but how much are you willing to pay for the fleeting pleasure? The consequences of a money mentality are much more damaging than the value of money itself. Are you willing to put your mental, emotional, and physical well-being on the line? There are things more precious than money. Here are a few:
-Experiences
-Genuine connections
-A feeling of purpose
-Genuine concern for helping others
-Eddie says, β€œthere are many things in this world that no amount of money will buy you, and some things are priceless beyond measure.”

2. Weakness can be turned into hatred
Weak people lack the ability to maintain any level of emotional intelligence. People who lack emotional intelligence and a strong sense of self are easily influenced to hate. Their values and convictions are not based on strong foundations; rather, they are proponents of radical causes. Hatred is a disease that consumes the human mind to the point of no return, causing significant harm to oneself and others.
β€œIf enough people had stood up then come on Kristallnacht, and said, β€˜enough what are you doing? What is wrong with you?’ then the course of history would have been different. but they did not. they were scared they were weak, and their weakness allowed them to be manipulated into hatred ” β€” Eddie Jaku

3. Tomorrow will come if you survive. one step at a time
The majority of people give up because they feel the suffering will never end. They relinquish control because their vision is clouded by minor inconveniences rather than the bigger picture.
β€œThe closer you get to something, the blurrier it gets,” as the saying goes. Be well-rounded, logical, and foresighted. Nothing on it has the word β€œforever” written on it.

4. You can find kindness everywhere, even from strangers
If you take a step out of your own world for even a moment, you will notice that you are not alone. The most serious problem is that we cannot talk freely about ourselves, our lives, and our issues. You are not alone in the universe. There are people who would happily assist you if you were willing to be vulnerable.

5. One good friend
β€œThe greatest thing you will ever do is be loved by another person” β€” repeat this sentence until you realize that love and friendship are the best medicine.
I cannot emphasize this enough, especially to young people. Without friendship, a human being is lost. A friend is someone who reminds you to feel alive.

6. Education is a lifesaver
I do not mean formal education when I use the word β€œeducation”. Yes, formal education is fantastic and brings great opportunities, but life education is much more critical. Understanding the laws of human nature, being mindful of worldviews, and knowing how to connect so that your voice is heard are all examples of life education. To be self-sufficient and not depend on others for a good life.
You may not be able to change the world because it is beyond your power, but you can change yourself. Change is possible, despite what you can believe, but it requires discipline.
