Krishna Janmashtami @New Pandhariraya Temple, Osaka, Japan
Krishna Janmashtami @ New Pandhariraya Temple, Osaka, Japan
At the New Pandhariraya Temple in Osaka, Krishna Janmashtami was joyfully celebrated over two days, on August 15 and 16.
On the 15th, devotees who had gathered from various parts of Japan spent the day lovingly engaging in their respective seva, preparing themselves for the evening festivities.
Many participants had attended the Japan Country Week at Shree Peetha Nilaya in June, and they actively put into practice what they had learned there—offering bhajans, making garlands, and more.
Since Guruji especially encourages singing bhajans, many devotees offered them wholeheartedly. Inspired by this enthusiasm, even those who had not been to SPN joined in, and special sessions outside the official program were arranged, with around three hours of bhajan singing in total.
It was a remarkable experience, something unimaginable just a year ago, as we truly felt Krishna breathing the spirit of bhajans more and more into our hearts.
During the three-hour yagna, the flames rose high into the summer night sky, reflecting the deep devotion everyone felt toward Krishna.
The highlight came with the midnight arati at 12:02, marking the sacred moment when Krishna descended to Earth. Throughout the two-day celebration, the devotees’ faces were glowing with joy, radiating the bliss of Krishna’s presence.
