**Heavenly Thoughts**
📖 **Matthew 5:21-22 (NIV)**
*"You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment..."*
Reflection
📌In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus revealed that true obedience to God goes far beyond outward actions. Many people believe they are righteous because they avoid major sins, but Jesus pointed to something deeper—the condition of the heart and mind. He taught that anger, resentment, and sinful thoughts are not to be taken lightly because they can eventually influence our words and actions.
📌God sees beyond what others can see. While people often judge by outward appearance, God examines the thoughts, motives, and intentions of the heart. This truth challenges us to be mindful not only of what we do but also of what we allow to dwell in our minds.
📌As followers of Christ, we are called to live differently. We were not saved merely to avoid sin but to become effective representatives of God's Kingdom. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, our minds can be renewed day by day. As we spend time in God's Word, prayer, and fellowship with Him, our thoughts gradually become aligned with His truth and His ways.
📌When our minds are transformed, our attitudes change. We become more patient, loving, compassionate, forgiving, and faithful. The more we think like Christ, the more we reflect His character to those around us. This is why guarding our thoughts is an important part of our spiritual growth.
📌Tonight, let us surrender every anxious, bitter, prideful, or sinful thought to God. Let us invite Him to renew our minds and fill our hearts with His truth, peace, and love.

🙏 Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for reminding us that true holiness begins in the heart and mind. Help us surrender every thought that does not honor You. Cleanse our minds from anger, pride, fear, and bitterness, and fill us instead with Your truth, peace, and love. May the Holy Spirit continually transform our thinking so that our lives will reflect Your character and bring glory to Your name. Make us faithful servants and effective representatives of Your Kingdom. In Jesus' name, Amen.
**May your thoughts be filled with Christ, and may your heart rest in His perfect peace.** 🤍🖤🙏🏻
