Philippians 4:4: "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice."

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."

Proverbs 17:22: "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."

Nehemiah 8:10: "...Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."

Psalm 119:162: "I rejoice at your word like one who finds great spoil."

These verses emphasize that happiness, or joy, is a consistent choice to trust in God's goodness.

The Church, from the Greek word ecclesia meaning “called out,” is not just a place but a people—called out from darkness to live for God.

It is a local body of believers where we grow in faith, serve together, and are built up in Christ. At the same time, it also represents the universal church—all who belong to Him.

God has appointed leaders to guide and equip His people, and as believers, we are called to stay connected, grow in unity, and honor the leadership placed over us.

In loving our church, we reflect our love for Christ and His body.
