What happened to our Young Adults this year? ✊

They drove north together for four days and were strengthened by Scripture, baptism, the breaking of bread, and prayer. They worshipped, barbecued, walked, prayed, and came home sunburnt, tired, yet nourished — knowing God and each other better than when they began.

To note: No actual baptism took place in the course of the trip😉…. But hopefully later 😎

We hope to see you again next year - for our Annual Young Adults Summer Trip! 🙏🏻🫶

Oh yes, it’s been a while — but here we are with another episode of Q&A with Pastor Hector. This time we’re sitting with one of the hardest questions: **Why pray if it doesn’t end the pain?**

Pastor Hector talks about prayer not as a magic fix, but as relationship, honesty, and movement. We pray with our words, but we also “pray with our legs” — in the choices we make, the justice we pursue, and the quiet ways we keep going when life still hurts, echoing Frederick Douglass’ line about praying “with my legs.”
