Praise Update worth reading:

One of the parents of the three children who made a profession of faith at the last evening of our Vacation Bible School called us and invited us over to their home just to go over the simple plan of salvation as explained during the VBS. Their youngest daughter got saved, however, they have three other school-age children (ages 8-12) who attended but did not make a salvation decision.

The parents, the children, my wife and I sat around their living room, I led in prayer. Then my wife gladly refreshed the children’s memory about the Bible lesson as taught by Bro Kade - the righteousness of God, how a person can have it, and how to have the gift of eternal life. This gave the three children another opportunity to hear the Gospel.

After going through verse by verse and explaining each verse at their level of understanding, my wife asked if they wanted to receive God’s gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, to receive Jesus in their hearts and be their Lord and Saviour. Without looking for their parents’ approval, one by one they answered “Yes, I want to be saved. I want to receive Jesus in my heart and be my Saviour”. With my guidance, all three children prayed, repented from their sins, and received Jesus as their Saviour. The parents, all of us in the living room were rejoicing in the Lord! Glory to God! Hallelujah!!

The Lord blessed our past soul winning that several of those who we invited came to worship God this Sunday and learned that they are already saved! Praise the Lord! Thankful for our soul winning team. Thankful for parents who are teaching their children how to serve the Lord and to reach the lost! 🙏🏽❤️😇
