This Sunday, May 17th, Kadena Gate 2 will be closed from 12 noon until an undetermined time to both foot and driving traffic due to a local protest around Gate 2. Since the USO parking lot will not be an option for the 11 AM service for people to walk through Gate 2, we wanted to let you know about a few other parking options and suggest using them. These options include the parking garage at the Okinawa City Municipal Library or its nearby public parking lot. It is only a few minute walk to the church from one of these lots. It’s not much more than walking from the USO.
