Koza Baptist Church Koza has been about sharing the authentic love of Christ on Okinawa since the church began. What time are services? What is available for children and students?

We hope you experience God’s love through authentic worship at our weekend services, connect with others at our community groups or bible studies and eventually serve in the area where God has gifted you. At Koza we worship every Sunday at 8:30AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:30 AM. We have an excellent kid’s experience, during all of our service times, for infants through 5th grade. There is also a Student m

inistry available for 6th through 12th grade at 2PM every Sunday. What should I wear? Koza is a casual environment. Living on a tropical island, some people that wear shorts and flip flops and others who choose to wear slacks and a nice tie. Wear what makes you feel comfortable. Are the services in English or Japanese? Both. Our pastor communicates in English but we offer "real time" Japanese translation through electronic hearing devices for during our 10:00 and 11:30 services and most events. What do we believe about missions? Big K-Kingdom - little k-koza" is an axiom we use here because it is our desire to see the Kingdom of God reach to the ends of the earth. We have teams every year that go out from Koza to other countries like the Philippines, India, Cambodia, Thailand and mainland Japan. We are also involved in many local ministries here in Okinawa to share the love of God with everyone we can. Where are we located? Koza Baptist Church

Greetings Koza Family,
Many of you have seen the inclement weather headed our way. While the Tropical Storm appears to be tracking for Monday, the effects of the lead edge of the storm will begin on Sunday. Therefore, we will not be holding the church picnic and baptisms. We will shoot for our father's day celebration for the next opportunities for baptism. Blessed by you all and looking forward to worshiping at the church with you all this Sunday.

EVERYONE IS INVITED!!!
Hello Friends and Family.
First, the family and I want to extend our sincere appreciation for all of your messages, e-mails, posts, and calls. We are overwhelmed by grief and rejoicing all in the same breath. But we are also encouraged by your support and love. Thank you!
We want to extend an invitation to everyone to attend the celebration of life for our precious Hisami. She truly embodied the 1st and 2nd greatest commandments, by loving God and loving others. Please come and help us celebrate her life. Details are as follows:
Date/Time- Saturday, 31 January at 6pm.
Location- Koza Baptist Church
Attire- Bright and Colorful Kariyushi or Business Casual (no black funeral attire)...this was her request.
We know there will be many who can't make it from all over the world, so we are providing a livestream link.
