By the grace of the Lord, Christian Life will celebrate the 55th anniversary in October 2022, supported by the prayers and warm fellowship of our beloved pastors. On this occasion, Pastor Yasuhiko Kawamoto will take over as the lead pastor of this church from Pastor Akihiro Mizuno, and we will hold a ceremony to celebrate the transition of lead pastor on October 10 (Mon., holiday) at the "Christian Life 55th Anniversary Conference" in Fukiage Hall in Chikusa Ward, Nagoya City, inviting Pastor Mel Mullan from Canada.
Pastor Mel Mullan planted Home Church in Alberta, Canada, which is now a multi-site church with over 100 locations around the world. Pastor Mel hosts annual leadership conferences, influencing hundreds of leaders in Canada and the U.S., travels the world, trains leaders in various countries, serves in church congregations in various countries around the world, and has established a K-12 Christian school and Bible college in Alberta, where he trains students for the glory of the Lord.
Due to the time of COVID-19 pandemic and the limitation of the hall capacity of the venue being half of the normal capacity at this time, we will have only Christian Life members and pastors and their spouses of various churches of the Family of God Christian Church on Monday, October 10 (National holiday). We would like to ask you, our beloved pastor, to attend the "Leadership Seminar" for pastors and leaders, to be held on October 11 (Tuesday) at 10:30 a.m. as part of the "Christian Life 55th Anniversary Conference".
