ガラテヤ人への手紙 5:16 口語訳
わたしは命じる、御霊によって歩きなさい。そうすれば、決して肉の欲を満たすことはない。
❤️As believers, we are called to live in the Spirit, to pray in the Spirit, and to walk in spirit and truth. As Christians, we are called to live a spiritual life and not to be carnal; to bear the fruit of the Spirit and not to produce our own works of the flesh; to live under grace and not under law. As disciples, we are to walk by the Spirit for in so doing, we will not carry out the desires of the flesh.
私たち信 believers（信仰者）は、御霊によって生き、御霊によって祈り、霊と真理のうちを歩むように召されています。クリスチャンとして、私たちは肉的にではなく、霊的な人生を生きるように召されています。肉の働きを自分自身から生み出すのではなく、御霊の実を結ぶこと、律法の下ではなく、恵みの下に生きることが求められています。弟子である私たちは、御霊によって歩むべきです。なぜなら、御霊によって歩むなら、私たちは肉の欲望を満たすことがないからです。
❤️Scripture reminds us in many places that we can only walk by means of the Spirit when we place our lives under His full control. We can only walk in spirit and truth when we are led by the Holy Spirit of truth and guided by His Word of truth.
聖書は、私たちが自分の人生を聖霊の完全な支配に委ねるときにのみ、御霊によって歩むことができると、さまざまな箇所で教えています。真理の御霊である聖霊に導かれ、真理の御言葉によって導かれるときにのみ、私たちは霊と真理のうちを歩むことができるのです。
❤️The flesh refers to the old sin nature, 'the old man' that was crucified with Christ when we trusted Him as Saviour. We are to keep our fallen nature, that 'old man' nailed to the Cross and permanently disabled as we walk in spirit and truth. Only as we submit ourselves to the Holy Spirit and depend on Him by grace through faith in Christ, are we able to walk by the Spirit and be enabled to live as God as intended us to live.
「肉」とは、古い罪の性質、すなわち、私たちが救い主キリストを信じたときに、キリストとともに十字架につけられた「古い人」を指します。私たちは、その堕落した性質である「古い人」を十字架につけられたままにし、もはや力を持たないものとして、霊と真理のうちを歩むべきです。
私たちが自分自身を聖霊に委ね、キリストへの信仰を通して、恵みによって聖霊により頼むときにのみ、御霊によって歩むことができます。そしてそのとき、私たちは神が私たちに意図された生き方をすることができるようにされるのです。

ガラテヤ人への手紙 6:9 JCB
正しい行いをすることに疲れ果ててしまわないようにしましょう。失望せず、あきらめずにいれば、やがて祝福を刈り取る日が来るからです。
❤️The simple gospel of grace requires no effort, for we are saved by grace simply through faith in Christ Jesus. But living our Christian life as unto the Lord requires patient endurance as we press on, day by day, in the footsteps of our Saviour to the goal of our calling, which is to be conformed into the image of Christ. This takes effort and courage which only comes from the Spirit of God, but in so doing we are obeying the Lord as we press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
恵みについてのシンプルな福音には、何の努力も必要ありません。私たちは、ただイエス・キリストを信じる信仰によって、恵みにより救われるからです。
しかし、主にあってクリスチャンとしての歩みを生きるためには、忍耐して前進し続けることが求められます。私たちの救い主の足跡に従い、一日一日、与えられた召しの目標へと進んでいくのです。その目標とは、キリストのかたちに似た者へと変えられていくことです。
その歩みには努力と勇気が必要です。しかし、それらは神の御霊によって与えられるものです。そうして私たちは、主に従いながら、レースの終わりを目指して走り続けます。そして、神がキリスト・イエスによって私たちを召してくださっている、天の賞を受け取るのです。
💕So let us keep on keeping on, and "let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary."
ですから、私たちはこれからも歩み続けましょう。そして、「善を行うことに失望してはいけません。時が来れば、あきらめずに続けているなら、私たちは刈り取ることになるのです。」

ごく小さな事に忠実な者は、大きな事にも忠実である。ごく小さな事に不忠実な者は、大きな事にも不忠実である。
❤️Jesus tells His disciples to use their money to bless others. In doing so, they show that their trust is in God, and those they bless will be witnesses to their godly character.
イエスは弟子たちに、自分たちのお金を用いて他の人々を祝福するよう教えられました。そうすることで、彼らは自分たちの信頼が神にあることを示し、また、祝福を受けた人々は彼らの敬虔な人格の証人となるのです
❤️the principle that Jesus is trying to convey is one of a just steward rather than an unjust one. The unjust steward saw his master’s resources as a means for his own personal enjoyment and advancement.
イエスが伝えようとしている原則は、不正な管理人ではなく、正しい管理人となることです。不正な管理人は、主人の財産を自分自身の楽しみや利益、出世のための手段と考えていました。
💕Jesus wants His followers to be just, righteous stewards. If we understand the principle that everything we own is a gift from God, then we realize that God is the owner of everything and that we are His stewards.

💕As such, we are to use the Master’s resources to further the Master’s goals. In this specific case, we are to be generous with our wealth and use it for the benefit of others.

❤️No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money” . If God is our Master, then our wealth will be at His disposal. In other words, the faithful and just steward whose Master is God will employ that wealth in building up the kingdom of God.
「しもべは二人の主人に仕えることはできません。一方を憎んで他方を愛するか、一方に忠実になって他方を軽んじるかのどちらかです。あなたがたは神と富との両方に仕えることはできません。」もし神が私たちの主人であるなら、私たちの財産は神の御心のために用いられるはずです。言い換えれば、主人を神とする忠実で正しい管理人は、その富を神の国を建て上げるために用いるのです。

天が地を超えて高いように
慈しみは主を畏れる人を超えて大きい。
❤️God’s love is so great that we can, in no way, measure it. It is limitless. We can try to put words to it but we soon realize our words are too small. God’s love is immeasurably high. And this great love is steadfast—unchanging, consistent, and dependable. Bless the Lord, O my soul!
神様の愛はあまりにも偉大で、私たちには決して測り知ることができません。その愛には限りがありません。どんなに言葉で表そうとしても、その偉大さを表現するには私たちの言葉はあまりにも小さいのです。神様の愛は計り知れないほど高く、深く、広く、そして変わることのない愛です。いつまでも変わらず、一貫していて、決して揺らぐことのない確かな愛です。
❤️When we are forgiven by God our shame is gone forever! Our guilt is pardoned forever! Our debt has been paid forever! We have been set free from our transgressions for all of eternity!
神様に赦されるとき、私たちの恥は永遠に取り去られます。罪責は完全に赦され、負うべき罪の負債は永遠に支払われました。私たちはすべての罪から解放され、永遠の自由を与えられたのです。
❤️the tender compassion of our Heavenly Father—a compassion that understands our weaknesses. He knows our frame and fully understands our shortcomings and what we are made of—dust. And knowing us this way, He moves toward us knowing that we would not make the move toward Him. He shows us compassion we don’t deserve and didn’t do anything to earn. He moves toward us as a tender Father who is full of compassion for His little children.
私たちの天の父は、深い憐れみと優しい慈しみに満ちておられます。その憐れみは、私たちの弱さをよく理解しています。神様は私たちがどのように造られたかをご存じであり、私たちが「ちり」にすぎない存在であることを知っておられます。そのことを知りながら、神様は私たちが神様のもとへ向かう前に、先に私たちのほうへ近づいてくださいました。私たちには受ける資格もなく、自分の力で得たわけでもない憐れみを、愛に満ちた父として惜しみなく注いでくださるのです。
💕The death of Christ on the cross for us is the best measure of God's love for us. John 3:16 tells us God's love was potent enough that He gave His only Son. Furthermore, no power on earth can destroy His love for us. Tribulation, distress, persecution, nakedness, danger, and sword cannot divide us from God's infinite love. Those who accept Christ are saved, and those who reject Him are lost
私たちのために十字架で死なれたキリストこそ、神様の愛を最もはっきりと示す証です。ヨハネ3章16節には、神様がひとり子をお与えになるほど私たちを愛してくださったと記されています。さらに、この世のどんな力も神様の愛を私たちから引き離すことはできません。患難も、苦しみも、迫害も、飢えも、裸も、危険も、剣も、神様の限りない愛から私たちを引き離すことはできないのです。キリストを受け入れる者は救われ、キリストを拒む者は滅びへと向かいます。

しかし、神が光の中にいますように、わたしたちも光の中を歩くならば、わたしたちは互に交わりをもち、そして、御子イエスの血が、すべての罪からわたしたちをきよめるのである。
❤️Fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ can be such a blessed experience, but to enjoy sweet fellowship with our Heavenly Lord is the pinnacle of being a sinner saved by grace. God is light and in Him is no darkness at all, and walking in the warmth and radiance of His perfect light and communing with Him is the right and privilege of all believers - nevertheless, fellowship with our Father is a believer's choice.
キリストにある兄弟姉妹との交わりは、何と祝福に満ちたものなのでしょう。しかし、天の父なる主との親しい交わりを楽しむことこそ、恵みによって救われた罪人に与えられた最高の特権です。神は光であり、神のうちには少しの闇もありません。その完全な光の温かさと輝きの中を歩み、神と交わることは、すべての信者に与えられた権利であり恵みです。しかし、父なる神との交わりを保つかどうかは、信者一人ひとりの選択にかかっています
❤️When we walk in the light, we will maintain sweet fellowship with the Lord. But if we choose to step outside of the light, our fellowship with our Father will be interrupted. There are many enticements to sin and we can choose to disobey God's will for our life and foolishly step back into the darkness from which we have been rescued - but the consequences for carnality in a Christian is a loss of reward - eternally saved but a wasted life, loss of reward, and broken fellowship with our Father.
私たちが光の中を歩むなら、主との甘く親しい交わりは保たれます。しかし、自ら光の外へ踏み出すなら、父なる神との交わりは途絶えてしまいます。罪への誘惑は数多くあり、私たちは神のみこころに従わず、愚かにも救い出された闇へと再び足を踏み入れてしまうことがあります。しかし、クリスチャンが肉の思いに従って生きることの結果は、救いを失うことではなく、報いを失うことです。救いは永遠に確かなものですが、人生を無駄にし、天での報いを失い、父なる神との交わりが損なわれてしまいます。
❤️God is love and peace and hope and joy – and God is purest light. He knows that the perfect place of protection and joy for all His children is to remain in fellowship with Him and to walk in the light of His love, just as He is in the light. When a sinner who has been saved by grace, chooses to live in the light in the same way that God is in the light, he has made a wise decision, for he will not only enjoy blessed fellowship with His Christian brothers and sisters who are also living in God’s light, but will enjoy unbroken fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ, Himself, and sweet communion with the great Father of light and life and hope and love.

ヨシュア記 1:8 新共同訳
この律法の書をあなたの口から離すことなく、昼も夜も口ずさみ、そこに書かれていることをすべて忠実に守りなさい。そうすれば、あなたは、その行く先々で栄え、成功する。
❤️All Scripture is the Word of God, and Joshua was an example of a godly man who both believed God's Word and acted upon it. Joshua knew the value of hearing God's Word and meditating upon it. He knew that neglecting the Word of the Lord was a recipe for disaster and like Mary of Bethany, he learned the one thing that was needful, to listen to the voice of the Lord and to meditate upon all that He has said day and night. And like them, we too need to ponder it in our hearts and talk about it to other believers.
聖書全体は神の御言葉です。そしてヨシュアは、神の御言葉を信じ、それを実際に行動へと移した敬虔な人物の模範でした。ヨシュアは、神の御言葉に耳を傾け、それを昼も夜も黙想することの大切さを知っていました。主の御言葉をおろそかにすることは災いへの道であることを理解していたのです.また、ベタニアのマリアのように、彼は「どうしても必要な一つのこと」、すなわち主の御声に耳を傾け、主が語られたすべてのことを昼も夜も思い巡らすことを学びました。私たちも彼らにならい、神の御言葉を心に深く蓄え、信仰の仲間たちと語り合う者でありたいものです。
❤️We should read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest the Word of the Lord. We should study God's Book of instruction, particularly those passages that relate specifically to the Church, and we should continually feed on His Word in our hearts by faith with thanksgiving.
私たちは主の御言葉を読み、心に留め、学び、それを自分の内に深く受け入れるべきです。特に教会に向けて語られている箇所を学び、感謝をもって信仰によって御言葉を心の糧とし続けましょう。
💕We should meditate on His Word, memorise His Word, trust His Word, and love His Word, and we should be sure to obey His Word and apply His Word in our daily lives, for in so doing we will certainly prosper and succeed in all we do, to His praise and glory.

良い贈り物、完全な賜物はみな、上から、光の源である御父から来るのです。御父には、移り変わりも、天体の動きにつれて生ずる陰もありません。
❤️The One Who is the Creator of heavenly light is the same One Who is the Pioneer and Perfecter of our faith, and His Word is Faithful and True. He is our God Who will never renege on His promises nor will He default on His goodness and grace, for there is no trace of turning with Him.
天の光を創造されたお方こそ、私たちの信仰の創始者であり完成者でもあります。そして、その御言葉は常に真実であり、信頼に値するものです。神は約束を決して破られることなく、その恵みと慈しみにおいて欠けることもありません。神には少しの移り変わりも、変わる影もありません。
❤️He is the immutable God Who is eternally unchanging, never altering in His character, never failing in His promises, and never ceasing in His goodness and love towards us.
神は永遠に変わることのない、不変のお方です。そのご性質は決して変わることなく、その約束は決して果たされないことがなく、その善と愛は私たちに対して絶えることがありません。
❤️We live in a fallen world. There are times when our desires masquerade as good, but if they are not God’s will, they are not the “good and perfect gifts” from above that James describes. That is where our discernment and God’s wisdom must intersect.
私たちは堕落した世界に生きています。時には、私たち自身の願いが良いもののように見えることがあります。しかし、それが神のみこころでないなら、ヤコブの手紙に記されている「上から与えられる良い贈り物、完全な賜物」ではありません。だからこそ、私たちの識別力は神から与えられる知恵と結びつかなければならないのです。
It is because of His grace that we receive what we do not deserve, and it is through His mercy that we do not recieve what we do deserve! While we were dead in sin and estranged from our Maker, He demonstrated His amazing love towards us by sending Jesus, His dearly beloved Son, to be the propitiation for our sin.
私たちが受けるに値しない恵みを受けることができるのは、神の恵みによるものです。そして、本来受けるべきさばきを受けずに済むのは、神のあわれみによるものです。私たちが罪の中に死に、創造主なる神から引き離されていたときでさえ、神はその驚くべき愛を示してくださいました。神はその愛するひとり子イエスを遣わし、私たちの罪のためのなだめの供え物（贖い）としてくださったのです。
