　みなさんこんにちは、赤間教会です。

　このところお天気でお昼間は暑い日が続いていますね。教会に向かう道や教会の中もカラフルな花でいっぱいです。5月10日の母の日には、女性の皆さんにミニブーケが贈られました。皆さんの笑顔が花のように咲く日曜日でした。

　写真は、子どもメッセージを元気に聴く子どもたち、晴れた日の教会、花々など、教会の日常の風景です。病などで教会の礼拝に出席できない教会員には、礼拝の中継も行っています。今日も教会は優しい笑顔で溢れています。

This is Akama Church.

Warm sunny days have continued lately, and the road to our church and the church itself are now filled with colorful flowers. On Mother’s Day, May 10th, mini bouquets were given to the women in our congregation. It was a Sunday where everyone’s smiles bloomed like flowers.

These photos show scenes from everyday church life — children listening happily to the children’s message, the church on a beautiful sunny day, and the lovely flowers around us. For church members who cannot attend worship services due to illness or other reasons, we also livestream the service.

Today as always, our church is filled with gentle smiles and warm hearts.

【最近の教会】

　みなさんこんにちは、赤間教会です。

　教会で毎週日曜日に飾られるお花や教会の周りに咲く花々と共に、最近の赤間教会の様子をお届けしますね。

　赤間教会で定期的に教会カフェや教会を会場としたコンサートが行われるようになって、もう数年経ちます。赤間教会と言えば音楽、が少しずつ定着しているようです。
また、最近の教会は子どもたちの声もたくさん聞こえます。礼拝の中では、子どもたちに向けた短いメッセージの時間もあり、実は大人にもわかりやすくて好評なんです。

　みなさんこんにちは、赤間教会です。

　赤間教会では、礼拝の後に月に一度教会カフェを開催しています。5月24日は、赤間教会でもお馴染みになってきました、木村友美さんによるピアノ演奏です。今回はボーカルやギター、フルート、パーカッションとの演奏で、親しみ深いポップスなども含んだ演奏です。

　みなさんこんにちは、赤間教会です。

　赤間教会では、礼拝の後に月に一度教会カフェを開催しています。4月12日は、日本や韓国で活躍されている韓国のピアニスト、Paul M.さんをお迎えしてのカフェタイムでした。この日はウェルカム礼拝の中でもメッセージと演奏をしてくださったPaul M.さん。ピアノ演奏はもちろんですが、Paul M.さんの言葉も一つ一つが心に沁み入るものでした。

　希望や安心感が胸いっぱいに広がる、良い日となりました。また赤間教会にお越しいただける日を、心より楽しみにしています。

This is Akama Church.

At Akama Church, we hold a “Church Café” once a month following the Sunday service. For the café on 12 April, we were delighted to welcome Mr. Paul M., a Korean pianist who is active in both Japan and South Korea. Mr. Paul also delivered a message and performed during the welcome service held that morning. While his piano playing was, of course, magnificent, every word he spoke resonated deeply within our hearts.

It was a wonderful day, filled with hope and a sense of reassurance. We are truly looking forward to the day when he visits Akama Church again.

【ウェルカム礼拝2026】

　みなさんこんにちは、赤間教会です。

　4月12日の赤間教会の主日礼拝は「ウェルカム礼拝」です。赤間教会ではいつでも初めての方大歓迎なのですが、この日はゲストと共に皆さんを音楽でお迎えする日となります。初めての方でも安心してお越ししただけますよ。教会に初めて見える方のQ&Aは赤間教会のホームページにありますし、教会の受付でもお配りしています。もちろん、その辺にいる教会員にお声掛けいただけましたら、喜んでお答えします。
　教会が初めての方も、お一人の方も、お子さん連れも大歓迎です。

　礼拝後は教会カフェ。今回は礼拝、カフェタイム、いずれも日本や韓国で演奏活動をされているピアニストのPaul Mさんをゲストにお迎えします。礼拝後は、お茶を片手に、素敵な生演奏を楽しみましょう。

The Sunday service at Akama Church on April 12 will be a “Welcome Service.” While we always warmly welcome first-time visitors at Akama Church, this day is special because we’ll be welcoming everyone with music, along with our special guest.
First-time visitors can feel free to come and join us. A Q&A for first-time visitors is available on the Akama Church website and at the church reception desk. Of course, if you see any church members nearby, please feel free to ask them—they’ll be happy to help.
Whether you’re visiting a church for the first time, coming alone, or bringing children, you’re all very welcome.

After the service, we’ll have a church café. For this event, we’re pleased to welcome pianist Paul M, who performs in Japan and South Korea, as our guest for both the service and the café time.
Please join us at the church café and enjoy some wonderful live music over tea and coffee.

The mini-concert after the service is free to attend. We accept voluntary donations, but there is no admission fee, so please feel free to join us.

　みなさんこんにちは、赤間教会です。

　赤間教会では、礼拝の後に月に一度教会カフェを開催しています。皆さんがお茶を片手に語らう日もあれば、一緒に素敵な演奏に心を和ませる日もあります。
　教会カフェでもう何度か演奏してくださっているアーティストの中に、ギタリストの舛田隆志さんがいらっしゃいます。教会に響くギターの音色は温かく心に沁み入り、時に情熱を帯びながら、会場全体を豊かな響きで包み込みます。
教会に関わる演奏においても、さまざまな国の音楽を選んでくださり、聴く者をまるで世界の教会を巡る旅へと誘ってくださるようです。今回、ご厚意で教会での演奏をyoutubeで紹介させていただくことができます。

　At Akama Church, we host a church café once a month after the service. Some days, we chat over tea, while on others, we enjoy wonderful music.
　Among the artists who have performed at the church café several times is guitarist Takashi Masuda. The sound of his guitar resonating through the wooden church is warm and deeply moving. At times, it is passionate and envelops the entire venue in a rich resonance.
Even when performing for our church, he selects music from different countries, inviting listeners on a musical journey around the world. Thanks to his generosity, we can now share this performance on YouTube.

【教会が初めての方へ】

　みなさんこんにちは、赤間教会です。

　昨日、赤間教会はイースターの喜びに包まれた日でした。たくさんの方々が教会に見えて、ワクワクしながら卵を探す子どもたちと、それを見守り手伝う皆さんの姿、とても素敵な光景でした。教会中が楽しい飾り付けで彩られ、ずっとニコニコ顔の皆さんでした。

　赤間教会には新しく教会に見える方が多くおられます。初めての場所って怖いですよね。緊張しますよね。ルールとか作法ってあるのかしら、と思いますね。私も新しい場所に行くのは苦手です。でも赤間教会に関しては、どうぞご安心ください。

　Yesterday, Akama Church was filled with the joy of Easter. So many people came to the church, and it was lovely to see the children eagerly searching for eggs while everyone else watched over them and helped out. There were fun decorations throughout the church, and everyone had a smile on their face the whole time.

Many new visitors came to Akama Church. Visiting a new place can be daunting. It's natural to feel a little nervous. You might wonder if there are any rules or etiquette to follow. I’m not very good at visiting new places myself. But when it comes to Akama Church, please rest assured.

　春の訪れとともに、今年もイースター（復活祭）を迎えます。イースターは、教会にとってクリスマスと並ぶ喜びの日です。希望といのちの喜びをお祝いする礼拝です。

【ちゃんと休めていますか？】

　みなさん、こんにちは。赤間教会です。
　
　突然ですが、皆さん、ちゃんと休めていますか？私たちは休むのが苦手だと言われていますよね。責任感、罪悪感、周りへの迷惑...いろいろが私たちを休むことから遠ざけます。2月8日の礼拝では聖書の「安息日を覚えて、これを聖とせよ。」の部分を読みました。

　忙しい毎日、更に予定を詰め込んで余白のない日々を過ごしていると、癒されないままに疲れが溜まっていきます。安息日、神様の前で疲れを十分に癒されることで、私たちは周りの人々にも安息をもたらす存在として生きるようになるのです。日曜日は教会へ。心の疲れを癒して軽やかに一週間を始めたいものですね。

　教会が初めての方もお一人で見える方も、お子さん連れでも安心してお越しください。

Are you getting enough rest? We're often said to be bad at resting, aren't we? A sense of responsibility, guilt, and worry about inconveniencing others are just a few of the things that keep us from resting. On February 8, we read the part of the Bible that says, "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy."

　When we cram more and more into our busy days without any breathing room, fatigue builds up without healing. By resting fully before God on the Sabbath, however, we become people who bring rest to those around us. Sunday is for church. Let's heal our weary hearts and start the week feeling light and refreshed.
