It's Saturday, which means it's time to start preparing your heart for worship with your local church tomorrow. What does that mean?

Practically:
•Pack your purse/diaper bag/church bag so that it's ready to go.
•Lay out clothes and shoes for tomorrow.
•Plan an easy lunch and/or breakfast.
•Go to bed on time.

Spiritually:
•Read through the passage your pastor is preaching tomorrow. (For the FBC Misawa fam, it’s 1 Corinthians 3:9.) Pray for him to preach the Word faithfully.
•Pray for the Lord to help you worship in Spirit and in truth.
•Ask Him to help you look for someone to encourage at church tomorrow.
•Pray for your fellow church members.

Making the decision today to attend church tomorrow will usually ensure that you do, in fact, get up on time and make your way to gather with the people of God. And even if all your plans go awry, go anyway! Go with your tired body, your weary heart, your rowdy kiddos, your wrinkled clothing. Just go. Don't view meeting with the Body of Christ as a burden but rather as a balm. Even if you're weary, church is for you, too.

Make your plans and decisions today to be present with the church tomorrow. You'll be blessed because you went, and your presence will be a blessing to others. ❤️

Faith Baptist Church, Misawa is moving! Our first Sunday service in the new building will be on 21 June 2026 at 11am!
