Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we have the great opportunity to participate in the Church's "Light the World" campaign. This year's theme is "Light the World with Love." Jesus Christ is the light of the world and we share His light as we love those around us through simple acts of kindness and service.

Speaking of this initiative, Elder Marcus B. Nash of the Seventy said, "We can hold up His light by doing what He did: to love God and loveour neighbor by lifting up those who are down, helping fulfill the needs of those in want, and comforting those who hurt. Doing this will cause His light to shine in and through us and will bring light and peace to our troubled world one person at a time."

We invite everyone to join us in participating in this great initiative to find opportunities to love as the Savior loved. As you serve Him, you will also be blessed to find opportunities to share and invite others to "Come and see" the message of peace and love that Christ offers all of us. We hope and pray you have a beautiful Christmas season as we all Light the World in Love.

TOKYO JAPAN SOUTH (ENGLISH) STAKE
We invite all members of the Tokyo Japan South (English) Stake of Zion to participate in our October Stake Conference. Messages of inspiration and testimony will be delivered by the Stake Presidency and faithful members from our wards and branches: Iwakuni, Misawa, Yokosuka, Yokota, Zama, Tokyo 1st and Tokyo 2nd.

Saturday sessions will take place over the internet using the links below. The Sunday session will be broadcast live from the Temple Annex (5-8-8 Minami-Azabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo). Parking is limited to 50 spaces. We ask those who live in close proximity to the building to walk. Others, please consider public transportation or carpooling.
