4月18日20時から19日7時まで、知恩院の国宝・三門で「ミッドナイト念仏in御忌」が夜通しで行われました。

楼上内に並べられた木魚を叩きながら、ただひたすら一向にお念仏を称える行事です。
今年は土曜日開催ということもあり、大変多くの方にご参拝いただけました。
ご参拝いただいた皆さま、誠にありがとうございました。

From 8:00 PM on April 18 to 7:00 AM on April 19, the “Midnight Nembutsu in Gyoki” event was held all night long at the Sanmon Gate, a National Treasure of Chion-in Temple.

This event involves participants striking the wooden fish drums lined up on the upper floor while devoutly chanting the Nembutsu in unison.
Since the event fell on a Saturday this year, we were delighted to welcome a very large number of visitors.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended.

4月18日20時から19日7時まで、知恩院の国宝・三門で「ミッドナイト念仏in御忌」が夜通しで行われました。

楼上内に並べられた木魚を叩きながら、ただひたすらお念仏を称える行事です。
今年は土曜日開催ということもあり、非常に多くの方にご参拝いただけました。

ご来山いただいた皆さま、誠にありがとうございました。

新門近くの桜も見頃となりましたので、国宝三門、新門をバックに撮影してみました📷

勢至堂の奥にある濡髪大明神（ぬれがみだいみょうじん）にて「濡髪大明神大祭」が行われました。

濡髪大明神大祭は例年11月25日に行っておりますが、昨年は社殿の工事の為、中止となりました。
無事に工事が終了しましたので、3月26日に落慶法要および濡髪大明神大祭が行われました。

濡髪大明神大祭は、ご参拝の皆様よりご奉納いただいた「護摩木（ごまぎ）」を焚き、皆様のご多幸を祈念する法要です🙏

濡髪大明神は縁結びの神様でもございますので、どうぞ気軽にご参拝くださいませ！

The “Nuregami Daimyojin Grand Festival” was held at the Nuregami Daimyojin shrine, located at the rear of Seishi-do.

The Nuregami Daimyojin Grand Festival is typically held on November 25th each year, but it was canceled last year due to construction work on the shrine building.
Now that the construction work has been successfully completed, a memorial service and the Nuregami Daimyojin Grand Festival were held on March 26.

The Nuregami Daimyojin Grand Festival is a ceremony in which “gomagi” donated by worshippers are burned to pray for everyone’s happiness. 🙏

Since Nuregami Daimyojin is also the god of matchmaking, please feel free to come and pay your respects!

友禅苑内のしだれ桜が見頃となりました🌸
境内のソメイヨシノも次々と開花しており、知恩院にも春が訪れております✨

本日3月25日からは、恒例の「浄土宗総本山知恩院春のライトアップ 2026」も開催いたしますので、ぜひ春の知恩院にご来山くださいませ！

The weeping cherry blossoms in Yuzen-en Garden are now at their peak 🌸
The Somei-Yoshino cherry trees throughout the temple grounds are also blooming one after another, signaling the arrival of spring at Chion-in ✨

Starting today, March 25, we will also be holding our annual “Jodo-shu Head Temple Chion-in Spring Illumination 2026,” so please come visit Chion-in this spring!

華頂道（古門前通）沿いの河津桜が満開です！

まだまだ寒い日が続いておりますが、季節は着実に春へ進んでいます🌸
3月25日からは知恩院の春のライトアップも始まりますので、是非皆さまお越しくださいませ！

The Kawazu cherry blossoms along Kacho-michi (Komonmae-dori) are in full bloom!

Though cold days continue, the season is steadily moving toward spring🌸
The spring light-up at Chion-in Temple also begins on March 25th, so please do come visit!
