新春を迎え、全国の皆さまに謹んで新年のごあいさつを申し上げます。
著しく変化する社会と不透明さを増す国際情勢のもと、世界各地で平和を願う声が高まっております。
阿弥陀仏の本願のはたらきは、国や言葉の違いを越えて、すべての人々を導いてくださいます。
宗祖親鸞聖人は、「南無阿弥陀仏」と称えるところに、悲しみも喜びも分かち合う道が開かれていることを明らかにされました。
阿弥陀仏の本願にうながされて、ともにお念仏申す身となり、互いに敬い合い、支え合う年となりますよう心より念じております。
お念仏の導きのもと、皆さまとともに歩んでまいりたいと存じます。

In welcoming the New Year, I extend our sincere greetings to all.
Amidst our significantly changing society and growing global uncertainties, calls for peace are growing louder worldwide.
The working of Amida Buddha's Vow guides all people, transcending differences in country and language.
Our founder, Shinran Shonin, revealed that in reciting the Nembutsu, it opens the path in which sadness and joy are both shared.
It is our hope that this year will be one in which, inspired by Amida Buddha's Primal Vow, we will all together recite “Namo Amida Butsu,” as we respect and support one another.
Guided by the Nembutsu, may we all walk this path together.
