Kumamoto International Service is an English language Christian worship service. We are an ecumenical congregation that welcomes all people regardless of faith background or nationality. We are made up of members from many places and from many denominations. We welcome all whether you are just visiting Kumamoto, are here for study, or have lived here from birth.

Hey all! Just a quick heads up that the air conditioner at the church is on the fritz so it might be a good idea to bring a fan or cooling towel. We do have the back ac going full strength and also fans, but if you are succeptible to the heat (like I am) it might be good to have a backup. Hopefully it’ll get ironed out soon! Also please feel free to bring water or something else to drink! As my vice principal says every day, let’s be careful not to get heat stroke. -Hannah
