In The Gospel of Luke 13:1–9, Jesus teaches two important lessons:

1. Repent while there is still time.
Jesus explained that tragedies do not mean those people were worse sinners than others. Instead, He reminded everyone that all people need to repent and turn back to God.

“Unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

This teaches us not to delay repentance and spiritual change.

2. God is patient, but He expects fruitfulness.
In the parable of the barren fig tree, the owner wanted to cut down the tree because it had no fruit. But the gardener asked for more time to care for it.

This shows that:
* God gives us grace and opportunities to
change.
* But He also wants our lives to bear good fruit
through faith and obedience.

Moral lesson:
* Do not wait too long to come back to God.
* Use the time God gives you wisely.
* True faith is shown through a fruitful life filled
with love, kindness, forgiveness, and
obedience to God.
