We are visiting Ishinomaki Miyagi where we have lived. There was a huge earthquake last night, we evacuated because of tsunami warning but are safe now. Hope this isn't foreshock of a big one. But thankfully we are safe! Please pray for people who have trauma from 11 years ago and can have peaceful lives without threatening of disasters.

Please please pray for my friend's mom. Yoshiko who is 87 years old and got the corona virus so she is in the hospital right now. Her daughter is Rie my good Christian friend who is working for Come Before Winter ministry together. Please pray for Yoshiko to recover and family to get encouragement!!!
And let's pray for people suffering by the virus, people who are working for the patients at hospitals, and that it will calm down so the world can get back to normal life!!

Please pray for Tani san's family and friends. He went to heaven on May 5th. Our family spent quite a bit of time with him in Ishinomaki. He put a lot of energy into serving people in Cambodia, Thailand, and disaster zone in Tohoku Japan. He became a Christian a few years ago. We will certainly miss him.
