Blessings of root

6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. (Colossians 2:6-7)

“In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit.” (Isaiah 27:6)
Rooted in Christ
Believers rooted in themselves...not the Lord’s sheep
(Matthew25:32.33)32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
Believers rooted in His word
(John 15:4.5)4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
Believers rooted in church
(1Corinthians 12:27)27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
(Roman 12:5-8)5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your[a] faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead,[b] do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

Reward of not rooted.....wither and not bear fruit
(Mark 4:6.17)6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 17 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.
Blessings of taking root....go and bear fruits
(Mark4:8.20)8 Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.”20 Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—some thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times what was sown.”

Fruit of Salvation
（Psalms126：5.6）5 Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.6 Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.
(Glatians5:22)22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
(Ecclesiastis11:6)6 Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.

Outline of Today’s Sunday service

Pray and declare in His name

13 “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people,
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:13.14)

The necessary of healings for sin and land
Whole creation has been groaning...

19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.
20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that[h] the creation itself will be liberated from its bo***ge to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. 22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. (Romans 8:19.20.21.22)

Prayer in His name and its answering (John 14:13.14)

13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Answering for hearted prayer (Matthew 18:19)

19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

Elijah’s Prayer and its answering
Revived widow son (1Kings 17:20-23)

20 Then he cried out to the Lord, “Lord my God, have you brought tragedy even on this widow I am staying with, by causing her son to die?” 21 Then he stretched himself out on the boy three times and cried out to the Lord, “Lord my God, let this boy’s life return to him!”
22 The Lord heard Elijah’s cry, and the boy’s life returned to him, and he lived. 23 Elijah picked up the child and carried him down from the room into the house. He gave him to his mother and said, “Look, your son is alive!”

Heavy rain after the clouds appeared (1Kings 18:41-45)
41 And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” 42 So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees.
43 “Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked.
“There is nothing there,” he said.
Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.”
44 The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.”
So Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’”
45 Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain started falling and Ahab rode off to Jezreel.

Governor of all creation (Psalms 8:5-6)

5 You have made them[d] a little lower than the angels[e]and crowned them[f] with glory and honor.
6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands;you put everything under their[g] feet:

Mankind was made in image of God (Genesis 1:26)

26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Declare of the Lord Jesus Christ

“Be quiet! Come out of him!”(Mark 1:23-26)

23 Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an impure spirit cried out, 24 “What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!”
25 “Be quiet!” said Jesus sternly. “Come out of him!” 26 The impure spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.

“Quiet! Be still!!” (Mark 4:35-40)
39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

Sunday morning service on April 19th, 2020

Unchanging One

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”
Hebrew 13:8

Also Malachi 3:6 “I the Lord do not change”.

The disciples and the resurrected Lord

By the sea of Galilee; the miraculous catch of fish (John 21:1-22)

On the mountain, where Jesus had told them to go (Matthew 28:16-20)

On the Mount of Olives (Acts 1:6-12)

The Lord never changes (Hebrew 13:8)

The Lord will open the eyes of our hearts, through the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8)

The Lord is with us always, to the very end of the age (Matthew 28:20)

The Lord lives forever as a permanent priest to intercede for us (Hebrew 7:24-25)

The Lord hears our prayers and answers them

“… if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:19).

“I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it” (John 14:13-14).

The Lord is able to help us when we are being tempted (Hebrew 2:18)

The Lord will bring every deed into judgement, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. (Hebrew 11:9d, 12:14)

ハレルヤ！主の御名を崇めます。
緊急事態宣言を受け、ハレルヤチャーチ岐阜では礼拝のオンライン配信をする事に致しました。
教会での礼拝は奉仕者のみで行い、
礼拝はこちらのページからライブ配信をする予定です。

なお、通常の礼拝時間は10：30からでしたが、明日の礼拝は11：00からの配信と致しましたので何卒よろしくお願いいたします。
