"God is Spirit, and his worshipers must worship in Spirit and in Truth." (JOHN 4:24)
Worshipping God is the first duty of the church. God is seeking true worshippers who worship him in spirit and in truth. The Lord is pleased with such worship and his glory and presence appear abundantly. We fellowship with God and are healed, released, comforted, encouraged, and empowered. True worship is not just ceremonies and programs, but being led by the Holy Spirit to offer praises and prayers from our hearts, and to give ourselves to God by responding to his Word which is spoken to us. Our heart's desire and purpose is to always be a church that worships God in spirit and in truth, and to offer spiritual worship which is pleasing to the Lord. A church which evangelizes with the Holy Spirit
"Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation." (MARK16:15)
"you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth." (ACTS1:8)
God's will is that everyone hear the good news and be saved. Jesus also commanded us to preach the gospel to all people. Evangelism is the first mission for the church. We must preach the gospel with passion and the joy of our salvation to the people around us, and to the people of the world. To do this,we must be filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit leads us, gives us power and helps us evangelize. The Holy Spirit prepares the way for the preaching of the gospel.So our heart's desire and purpose is to be a church which evangelizes with the Holy Spirit. A discipling church
"Therefore go and make disiples of all nations,"
(MATTHEW28:19)
Jesus wants saved people to grow in faith and in spirit, and to become his disciples. People who love the Lord from their heart obey and serve the Lord with joy. Making disciples for Jesus is the first responsibility of the church. The church must use the Scriptures to develop, educate, and train saved people. The goal is that they become faithful ministers, serving in the church and making more disciples. It is wonderful that each one of us is given these gifts. We must discover it, develop it, and use it in the church which is the body of Christ in the Kingdom of God. Our heart's desire and purpose is to be a church which disciples God's people. A church which has fellowship in the love of God
"My command is this :
Love each other as I have loved you." (JOHN15:12)
Loving each other as the Lord loves us is the first commandment which the church must keep. We need to learn and practice loving each other. Even though our God is invisible, the love and the presence of God is apparent when we love each other, and in this way, people in the world can come to know God. On our own, we are weak and easily lose our way, so we need to comfort, encourage, and walk in faith, through fellowship with each other. The Lord is in our midst when we gather in the name of Jesus, and our prayers are answered. Our heart's desire and purpose is to be a church which fellowship in the love of God.
