群馬県 富士浅間神社 富士浅間神社は、群馬県藤岡の地に鎮座して約700年。安産と子育ての神様? It means "The beautiful princess who is like cherry blossom". Fuji.

木花開耶姫命（このはなのさくやひめのみこと）は、火を放った産屋で無事に子を産んだ言い伝えにより、安産、子育ての守り神として古くから信仰を集めてきました。

The worshipped goddess in this shrine is called "Konohana no sakuyahime no mikoto". She is a very beautiful goddess and her virtues are safe childbirth and good child-rearing because of Japanese myth.

富士山は日本一美しい山ですが、かつては火山としてたびたび噴火を繰り返していました。その激しい噴火を鎮め、同時に新しい生命を生み出す神として、火中で無事に子を生んだという言い伝えから、木花開耶姫命をご祭神としています。
