Have you ever noticed how uncomfortable silence can feel?

The moment things get quiet, we reach for our phones.
We turn on music.
We start scrolling.
We find something, anything, to fill the space.

We’ve gotten really good at avoiding silence.

And sometimes, we do the same thing with God.

We pray, we ask, we wait… but we don’t always stay quiet long enough to listen.

Put the phone down.
Turn off the noise.
Take a breath.

Be still for a moment, long enough to remember who you’re talking to.

He will speak, if you’ll only make space for Him. 🤍

Maybe you don’t need more noise today.
Maybe you just need to be still.

Save this for your next quiet time with God. 🙏

“Was that God… or was that just me?” 👀

You prayed. You waited. You asked God for direction… but now you’re left wondering if that thought, opportunity, conversation, or open door was actually Him.

Here’s the thing: God doesn’t always speak the way we expect.

Sometimes His leading comes through ordinary moments—a conversation, an opportunity, a closed door, or a thought that aligns with His Word.

Paul recognized an opportunity as a possible way God was leading him:

“A great door for effective work has opened to me.”
— 1 Corinthians 16:9

And remember: an open door doesn’t necessarily mean an easy road.
