Voices of distractions will not push me from thanking God and the defense team that worked tirelessly to secure my release from the Yaounde military Tribunal. Many thanks to all of you who took time to pray for this process.
It has been a learning experience .
Thank you all.

LETTER TO THE PEOPLE OF SOUTHERN CAMEROONS FROM KONDENGUI CENTRAL PRISON

May 27, 2020

Dear People of Southern Cameroons,
It is a great honour for me to write to you concerning the Anglophone Crisis. My name is Fritz Takang. Please let us continue to follow the instructions from our Medical Practitioners in order to stay safe from COVID-19.

I would like to use this opportunity to thank everyone who prayed for my recovery from COVID-19 and to thank the Medical Team of Djongolo COVID-19 Centre for doing their best.

I would also like to use this opportunity to extend my condolences to the family of Mola Njoh Litumbe. May the soul of this Prominent Southern Cameroons Activist rest in peace.

It is almost four years since the people of Southern Cameroons decided that it was time they be given their rightful place. It was a good step. We started peacefully but because of misunderstanding we are where we are now.

It is okay to defend oneself when necessary but it is very wrong to take advantage of a situation and do what is not right. Let us not be the ones doing the kidnappings and extortion and other vices. We have inflicted too much pain on one another already. There may be no war or revolution that is void of these vices but let us still do our best to shun them. Let us not do things simply because it is what is common in many other places. Our future is in our own hands. Let us take the lead in solving our problem.

It is necessary that we reconsider the way we are going about this quest for positive change. Other parties are not bringing out their best, but are we bringing out our own best. Let us still strive to do the right thing despite the difficult situation in which we find ourselves.

God does not forsake his children. Let us consider the counsel in Psalm 46:9-10. [9]He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow into pieces and snaps the spear in two; He burns the chariots in the fire.
[10]Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth!

This is going to come with what is good for us.

I wish to use this opportunity to call on all the leaders of this struggle to unite. We need to unite. We need to start speaking with one voice. Let us do it for those who have lost their lives as a result of this crisis (May their souls rest in peace.). Let us do it for those who have been internally displaced. Let us do it for the refugees. Let us do it for those who have lost their source of daily bread. Let us do it for those who have lost their houses. Let us do it for those children who have not been able to go to school since the beginning of this crisis.

The division among us is not helping us. The insults are not helping us. The blame game is not helping us. The hate-speeches and propaganda are not helping us. Please let us start doing things differently.

Thank you for reading and may God bless you.

Sincerely,

Fritz Takang

Great grace and peace to you all our smart, peaceful and loving Queen's and kings. Ladies before gentlemen's.
Geo strategically I will do something's and sociologically strategize to let you know. This is to provoke critical thinking especially in times of crisis.
According to Geography, the cloud that produces rain is called Nimbus, literally meaning dark clouds. Now, typically dark clouds are supposed to precede any rainfall. But we do know from past experiences that rain sometimes falls on a clear day and on some occasions even on sunny days. And so "Clouds do not always mean rain" . But you cannot have smoke without fire just like you cannot have a shadow without an object or light. Wherever there is smoke there is fire associated with it. The idiom "there is no smoke without fire" is often misinterpreted to mean that there is no rumor without some truth to it. But that's not always true. There are many rumors that have been spread which have no iota of truth in them. What the idiom means is that nothing happens without a reason. You may not remember why you did something in the past, but there was a reason. Even animals have a reason for what they do. You may have heard of the popular riddle joke that asks "why did the chicken cross the road?" to which the correct answer is "to get to the other side". Often times, when people have a bad reason for doing something, they cover it with a lie by saying they had no reason. Why not admit your bad motive. Be frank!
