Excerpts on the teaching of justification

Rom 8:31 KJV What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

🔥 What shall we then say to these things? This is the big question... WHAT THINGS?

Rom 8:30 KJV Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

🔥 You realise that it doesn't say those he predestinate, he called some... and those he called, he justified some... but the language suggests that all those he foreknew, ends up being glorified

🔥 It doesn’t say he called or justified some the language suggests all he foreknew end up glorified. What shall we say to these things?
These things refer to how God ensures His people are glorified—the work of justification, calling the sinful not guilty. We can only conclude that God is for them.

🔥 If God be for us, who can be against us?
If God is for those foreknown, predestined, called, justified, and glorified—who else can be against them? But Paul, you’ve been beaten and imprisoned—how can you say no one is against you?
Because Paul knows that, despite all, God has glorified His people.

🔥 God is for you. He has justified you. Predestination ensures conformity to Christ’s image. Christ must be seen in those he justified.
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

🔥 Paul presents a greater-to-lesser argument: If God gave His own beloved Son, why wouldn’t He give all things? Like a rich man who gave away mansions—if he promises a bicycle, you wouldn’t doubt him. So if God gave Himself for us, He will freely give all things. Paul is not referring to money here.

🔥 He's speaking of the justification, calling, and glorification that God gives freely. Those are the “all things.” It’s not about the many mansions or ideal spouses. God is able, but that’s not Paul’s point. If God gave His Son, why wouldn't He give justification and glorification too?

🔥 Dear child of God, yes, He declared you justified. If God be for you, even in pain, know that no one can be against you because He has sealed you with His promise.

A CALL OUT OF SLUMBER

Ephesians 5:14-18 KJV

14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit

🔥Tonight, I came to sound an alarm. In Ephesians 5, the apostle addressed the issue of unrighteousness. Those meant to stand tall in God are walking unknown paths. He exhorts them to awaken, that Christ may give them light.

🔥Our generation hears of its strength, yet the people of God remain weak. The hands of the fathers grow feeble, like Eli. A slumbering pursuit of wealth cripples God's people, making them enemies of His ways.

🔥Let the trumpet sound again those who have drifted, return; those with weak hands, be strengthened, for the days are evil. Remember, there is a race to run, a call to answer. Yet many on the Lord’s side lose hope. Shake yourself, wear the white garment, and declare Christ to your generation.

🔥We are in the days of power and glory that our fathers declared must manifest. Are you not tired of our fireless generation? We boast, but we can not recount God’s undeniable works. The call is to unity in the faith. His glory, majesty, and strength must be revealed through us.

🔥May our feet remain strong in the journey.
Dear child of God, when darkness overwhelms a generation, the sons of light must awake, and then Christ shall give us LIGHT.

🔥Let the waters in us be stirred, the closed Bibles opened, shut mouths cry again, and stationary feet walk the streets, declaring God's word.

Let the army arise with each man in his rank.

Shalom!

Excerpt: Stand Firm in the Liberty of Christ
Galatians 5:1-4 KJV

Last time, we looked at the mocking of Ishmael unto Isaac and its connection to inheritance. Now, Paul exhorts: Stand fast in the liberty Christ has given.

What kind of freedom?

🔥Freedom from sin – Not that sin disappears, but it no longer controls you.

🔥Freedom from Satan – He can tempt, but he doesn’t rule your life.

🔥Freedom from the law – You’re not saved by keeping Old Testament laws or the Ten Commandments. You’re saved by grace.

🔥 Freedom in daily life – You can eat freely, pray boldly, and live without fear of death. Christ has conquered it.

🔥 So Paul says: Don’t let anyone steal that freedom.
Don’t let legalism replace your relationship with Christ. Stand firm. Defend your liberty. How? Keep believing the Gospel. Live by faith. Use your freedom to serve, not to sin. You’re free. Don’t go back to being a slave. Jesus set you free value it!

🔥 Paul says “Behold,” meaning, “Listen carefully!” He says, “I, Paul” to remind them he speaks as Christ’s apostle. Then he says something shocking: If you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no benefit to you.

🔥 Back then, false teachers told new Christians they had to follow Jewish laws to be saved. But Paul says: If you add anything to what Jesus did, you cancel the benefit of Christ.
Jesus is enough. Trying to mix faith in Jesus with your own works means you’re saying Jesus isn’t enough.

🔥 We still see this today rituals, man-made steps, conditions… but dear child of God: Christ is enough! Salvation is through trusting Christ, not through rituals or efforts. The Jews believed circumcision guaranteed heaven, but Paul says:

🔥 Only those who trust in Jesus, not rituals, will be saved. Many today still say, “You must do this before God will hear you.” But again: Christ is enough. If a man is justified by works, he is fallen from grace.
The day your justification depends on your strength is the day you fall from grace.

Dear child of God… love God, love the brethren, and know that Christ is enough.

Excerpt: The Contention Between Law and Promise

Gal 4:29-31 KJV 29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. 30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. 31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

🔥 So, in the days of Abraham, there was Hagar and Sarah. These two represent two different ways God made covenants with people. Hagar stands for the old covenant, based on following the law. Sarah represents the new covenant, based on faith and the promises of God.

🔥 Both had sons Hagar’s son, Ishmael, was born by the flesh. Sarah’s son, Isaac, though born naturally, was said to be born after the Spirit because of God’s vivid hand in his birth.

🔥 Scripture says Ishmael persecuted Isaac or mocked at him. Some believe Ishmael tried to introduce Isaac into idolatry, others say immorality, some say he wanted to kill him with a spear, and others think he bullied him over the inheritance. I lean towards inheritance, as the Apostle uses it in this chapter.

🔥 Isaac was the son of the promise the rightful heir by the promise. Ishmael, by law, also had a claim by birthright. So, there is a contention: law vs. grace, flesh vs. Spirit.

🔥 Isaac means “Laughter.” Ishmael, seeing himself as the rightful heir, laughs at Laughter therefore mocking.

🔥 In the Galatian church, those who were lawful mocked those of the promise saying the inheritance is for those who abide by the law. But the Apostle says, *No we are of the promise.*

🔥 They observed days, and months, and times but we are of the Spirit like Isaac. Grace has found us.

🔥 Those who came into the church to reinstate the law ended up mocking. *“If you haven’t been circumcised, the inheritance isn’t for you.”* But we are of the Spirit!

Dear child of God, when they of the law show up, know ye that you bear a seal and a promise.
