Our summer finished out with Shawn coordinating the One Voice choir tour of southern Italy and Sicily. They traveled for two weeks beginning in Vasto, Termoli, and Bari and continuing across mainland Italy to several towns along the coast before heading to the cities of Agrigento and Palermo Sicily....

Want to ask for prayers this week as we prepare for a wedding ceremony next Tuesday, also for preparation and travels for the One Voice choir group. I will be meeting up with them the day after the wedding and traveling with them for around 10 or so days.

We had a great time at the Italian Mennonite Conference. The theme was Returning to Our Roots, with emphasis on going back to the basic tenets of our faith. Prayer, discipleship, faith heritage, and scripture made up the sessions for the weekend. We also enjoyed fellowshipping with old friends and new and sharing/hearing stories of God's faithfulness. And of course eating lots of our favorite Sicilian dishes.
