SOBRE LA FORMACIÓN RELIGIOSA (Corea)
El 6 de agosto, fiesta de la Transfiguración, a las diez de la mañana, celebramos, por la gracia del Señor y bajo la luz de la Verdad, la ceremonia de admisión de nuestra aspirante, Catarina Song-i Song. Damos gracias a Dios por la bendición de poder acoger a una nueva hermana este año, como lo hicimos el año pasado.
La Eucaristía fue presidida por el P. Juan, O.P., y las hermanas de las diferentes comunidades se reunieron para compartir, con verdadera alegría fraterna, este momento de gracia. Su madre y su hermano menor también asistieron a la ceremonia para orar por su nuevo comienzo en la comunidad de Dios. Después de la Misa, compartimos la alegría de nuestro encuentro con palabras de bienvenida y un refrigerio. También oramos para que Dios continúe enviando nuevas vocaciones, para que el legado de predicación que nos confió Santo Domingo perdure a través de nosotras.
La admisión de esta nueva hermana también nos brindó a cada una la oportunidad de reflexionar sobre nuestra propia vocación y los votos que hemos recibido. A través de nosotros, que somos indignos, el Señor continúa llevando a cabo la misión encomendada a la Iglesia e iluminando el mundo con la luz de Cristo.
Les pedimos que oren por la Hermana Catarina, quien da sus primeros pasos en la vida religiosa en Dios, para que sea guiada por la Palabra, sostenida por la comunidad y camine con firmeza por el sendero del amor eterno.

ON RELIGIOUS FORMATION (Korea)
On August 6, the Feast of the Transfiguration, at ten in the morning, we celebrated, by the grace of the Lord and under the light of Truth, the admission ceremony of our aspirant, Catarina Song-i Song. We give thanks to God for the blessing of being able to welcome a new sister this year, just as we did last year.
The Eucharist was presided over by Fr. Juan, O.P., and the sisters from the different communities gathered to share, in true fraternal joy, this moment of grace. Her mother and younger brother also attended the ceremony to pray for her new beginning in the community of God. After Mass, we shared the joy of our encounter with words of welcome and refreshments. We also prayed that God may continue to send new vocations, so that the legacy of preaching entrusted to us by St. Dominic may endure through us.
The admission of this new sister also gave each of us an opportunity to reflect on our own vocation and the vows we have received. Through us, who are unworthy, the Lord continues to carry out the mission entrusted to the Church and to illuminate the world with the light of Christ.
We ask you to pray for Sister Catarina, who is taking her first steps in religious life in God, that she may be guided by the Word, sustained by the community, and walk steadfastly along the path of eternal love.
