The Passage of the Lord, Clay in the Hands of the Potter 🕊️🌿
There are days when the Gospel is not merely read in books, but seen in faces.
At the Resurrection Garden in Nairobi, the Kenya-Uganda Region of the Consolata Missionaries and the Sons of Divine Providence lived a vibrant liturgy: a simple Pentecost embodied in the fragility of human vocation.
Under the laying on of hands by Most Rev. Philip Arnold Subira Anyolo, these brothers said "yes." Becoming a priest or a deacon is not about gaining a position, but making oneself vulnerable so that God's Consolation may embrace the wounds of the world.
Our Brothers Sent to Break the Bread Among the Nations (Priests):
Fr. Clement Oluoch Ondego, IMC (Destination: Argentina 🇦🇷)
Native of St. Paul's Mbaga, Siaya (Kenya). His journey began in the simplicity of the propaedeutic program in Mathari and novitiate in Morogoro (Tanzania), leading him to earn a Master's degree in Canon Law at the Pontifical Urbaniana University in Rome. Today, his life becomes an offering for South America.
Fr. Martin Somba Kioko, IMC (Destination: Ethiopia 🇪🇹)
Hails from St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Mukuyuni (Kenya). After weaving his faith in Tangaza and Sagana, he pursued specialized studies in Sacred Liturgy at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. His missionary heart now prepares to serve the sister's Church in Ethiopia.
Fr. Kennedy Daniel Katie Mbindi, IMC (Destination: Colombia 🇨🇴)
From Kyemundu, Mbitini Parish (Kenya). Formed at Consolata International University and Tangaza University, he completed his Master's degree in Liturgy at CUEA. His spirit is now prepared to cross the ocean and carry God's presence to Colombia.
Fr. Timothy Sunda Ombati, IMC (Destination: Taiwan 🇹🇼)
Born in St. Kizito Kegati Parish (Kenya). His vocation took him through Sagana, theological studies in South Africa, and a Master's Degree in Dogmatic Theology at CUEA in Nairobi. A path of listening that now opens to serving the people of Taiwan.
In the Humble Service of the Table and the Poor (Deacons):
Dcn. Justus Barongo Nyabuga, FDP (Sons of Divine Providence - Don Orione)
Native of St. Barbara Mosocho Parish (Kisii) and St. Charles Lwanga Njoro Parish (Nakuru).
Formed at the Consolata Institute, Don Bosco Utume College, and through pastoral work in Gaitu and Kandisi, his diaconate is a living expression of Saint Luigi Orione's charity among the humble.
Dcn. Wilson Zavery Nyove, IMC
Hails from St. Boniface Parish in Madibira (Tanzania). A journey matured in Morogoro and Dar es Salaam that now blossoms in diaconal service while pursuing his Master's degree in Sacred Liturgy at CUEA, Nairobi.
Dcn. Yao Kra Arthur Martin Sié, IMC
Native of Bondoukou (Ivory Coast). His search led him from philosophy in Abidjan and novitiate in Sagana to pursuing a Master's degree in Biblical Theology in Nairobi, placing himself at the service of the Word that transforms.
Dcn. Samuel Sadamo Wako, IMC
Hails from Holy Trinity Gambo Parish (Ethiopia). Formed early on at Meki Minor Seminary and among the Capuchin Franciscans in Addis Ababa before joining the Consolata Missionaries, currently offering his youth to Licentiate studies in Biblical Theology and diaconal service.
From the Kenya-Uganda Region, we pray for each of them. May Our Lady Consolata and St. Luigi Orione guard their journey and remind them always that their only true wealth is the mercy they have freely received. 🙏✨
