In un video il ricordo della storica giornata dei con Papa Wojtyła del 14 aprile 1984. Oggi pomeriggio la processione con la Croce dei Giovani da Piazza San Pietro al Centro Internazionale Giovanile San Lorenzo. Poi alle 19.00 la Messa presieduta dal cardinale Tolentino de Mendonça e infine la veglia di preghiera e di adorazione della Croce “Rise up”.

Have you ever been close to the Pilgrim Cross, which accompanies the youth, especially throughout each day of the WYD?

The cross was built for the Holy Year of 1983 and was entrusted
to the world youth by Saint John Paul II. It is an invitation to each one of us so that in our life the cross can reign so that we can love and embrace the everyday cross - which presents itself in different ways to each person.

And did you know that outside the WYD period, the Pilgrim Cross and its Marian Icon are in the San Lorenzo center? As the place of youth, it is also the place of great symbols for the youth of the world.
