🔶4 września, to liturgiczne wspomnienie naszych sióstr męczennic z Nowogródka, Błogosławionej Marii Stelli i jej Dziesięciu Towarzyszek. Do Wspólnoty Nazaretanek w Nowogródku należały:

✝Maria Kanuta od Pana Jezusa w Ogrójcu – Józefa Chrobot, lat 47,
✝Maria Sergia od Matki Bożej Bolesnej – Julia Rapiej, lat 43,

❤️ „Skąd miały siłę, aby ofiarować siebie w zamian za uratowanie życia uwięzionych mieszkańców Nowogródka? Skąd czerpały odwagę, aby ze spokojem przyjąć tak okrutny i niesprawiedliwy wyrok śmierci? - mówił papież Jan Paweł II podczas homilii beatyfikacyjnej - Bóg przygotowywał je powoli na tę chwilę największej próby. Dziękujemy wam, błogosławione męczennice z Nowogródka, za to świadectwo miłości, za przykład chrześcijańskiego bohaterstwa i zawierzenia mocy Ducha Świętego.”
🙏 Boże, nasz Ojcze, Twój Syn, Jezus, powiedział, że nie ma większej miłości niż oddać życie za drugiego człowieka. Siostra Stella i jej współsiostry dobrowolnie wybrały śmierć, by ratować braci, Ty przyjąłeś ich ofiarę. Przez wstawiennictwo błogosławionych Sióstr usłysz nasze prośby, które zanosimy do Ciebie w imię Jezusa naszego Pana. Amen.

🔷September 4 is the liturgical memorial of our Sisters, the Martyrs of Nowogródek — Blessed Maria Stella and her Ten Companions. The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth who belonged to the community in Nowogródek were:

The only Sister who survived was Sister Maria Małgorzata – Ludwika Banaś.
❤️ “Where did they find the strength to offer themselves in exchange for the lives of the imprisoned inhabitants of Nowogródek? Where did they find the courage to accept such a cruel and unjust death sentence with serenity?” — Pope John Paul II asked during the Beatification Mass. “God was gradually preparing them for this moment of the greatest trial. We thank you, Blessed Martyrs of Nowogródek, for your witness of love, for the example of Christian heroism, and for your trust in the power of the Holy Spirit.”
🙏 Let us pray: God, our Father, Your Son, Jesus, said that there is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for another. Sister Stella and her fellow Sisters freely chose death in order to save their brothers, and You accepted their sacrifice. Through the intercession of the Blessed Sisters, hear the prayers we bring before You in the name of Jesus, our Lord. Amen.
