Some journeys are measured in miles.

Others are measured in trust, prayer, waiting, and worship.

The Songs of Ascent (Psalms 120–134) were sung by God’s people as they traveled toward Jerusalem. These songs remind us that following God is not a sprint, but a journey toward His presence.

Join us over the coming weeks as we walk through these psalms together.

Originally planned for our Fellowship team serving the retreat, we’re excited to open this opportunity to our entire RIC community—we’d love for you to come along if you’re available!

“Abiding in the love of God can be challenging as life swirls around us. Our attention is pulled in every direction from waking to sleeping. Media alone moves us to pick up our phones or devices as soon as we wake, turn the TV on, play music, listen to the news, and move through the day with constant information or entertainment inputs filling our ears, eyes, minds, and hearts. Abiding is not just carrying the label, “Loved by God,” but knowing, enjoying, and truly resting in his love. Jesus tells us..
“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.” - John 15:9
This might be step one of living as a disciple of Jesus, just resting/abiding/being loved by Jesus in an acknowledged and participatory way.

He is Risen! ✝️

So thankful for a full and joyful Easter Sunday at Rome International Church. What a gift to gather with people from all over the world to celebrate the hope we have in Jesus.

Two services filled with worship, truth, and community—with an egg hunt in between that made the day even more special for the kids.

Grateful for this church family and the reminder that our God is alive and at work. 💛🌸
