SUNDAY PRAYER AT 3:00 PM

“LORD, HELP ME TO BE STILL AND TRUST YOU”

Heavenly Father,
at this hour of the afternoon, I come into Your presence and place my life before You.

Lord, sometimes my heart is restless.

I worry about tomorrow.
I wonder how certain situations will work out.
I look at closed doors and wonder where the next opportunity will come from.
I face battles that seem bigger than my strength.

But today, Lord, You remind me:

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Father, teach me to be still.

Still when I do not have all the answers.
Still when my prayers seem delayed.
Still when I cannot see a way forward.
Still when people disappoint me.
Still when circumstances make me afraid.

Help me to remember that You are God, and I am not.

You see what I cannot see.
You know what I do not know.
You are already in the tomorrow that I am worried about today.

Lord, I believe that You will make a way, even when I cannot see one yet.

Where there seems to be no door, create one.
Where there seems to be no opportunity, provide one.
Where there is confusion, bring clarity.
Where there is weakness, give me strength.
Where there is fear, fill me with Your peace.

Father, I thank You because there are battles You are fighting for me that I do not even know about.

Protect me from dangers I cannot see.
Save me from traps prepared against me.
Defend me from every evil plan.
Fight for my family.
Fight for my future.
Fight for my health, my work, my relationships and everything that concerns me.

Lord, I surrender every battle into Your hands.

Forgive me for the times I have tried to carry alone what I should have brought to You in prayer.

Today, I bring You my worries.

My financial worries.
My family worries.
My worries about my future.
My unanswered prayers.
My fears and uncertainties.

I refuse to carry them alone any longer.

Lord Jesus, give me the grace to pray instead of panic, to trust instead of worry, and to wait instead of becoming impatient.

When things do not happen as quickly as I want, do not allow impatience to make me question Your faithfulness.

You are never late. And what You have prepared for me will not miss me.

If I must wait, give me grace to wait.
If I must grow, help me to grow.
If I must prepare, help me to prepare.

Let me not mistake preparation for rejection or delay for denial.

Today, I choose faith.

I may not understand everything, but I trust You.
I may not see the way, but I know You can make one.
I may not know when, but I trust Your timing.
I may not see the evidence yet, but I believe You are working.

Lord, bless everyone joining this prayer.

Give strength to the weary.
Give peace to the troubled.
Give hope to those who are discouraged.
Provide for those in need.
Heal the sick.
Restore broken relationships.
Open doors for the unemployed.
And remind every person waiting for a miracle that You have not forgotten them.

Today, Lord, I will be still.

I will pray.
I will trust.
I will wait.
I will keep moving forward in faith.

Because MY GOD IS STILL MAKING A WAY.

Peter is struggling—and the Holy Father saw a reminder of how hard it is for us to trust God when His ways don’t match our expectations. Instead of judging, we should honestly talk to him in prayer, even about our misunderstanding. ✝️

MORNING PRAYER AND BLESSINGS

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, ✠ and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Almighty Father, on this blessed Sunday morning, we come before you with hearts overflowing with thanksgiving. We thank you for the gift of life, for the privilege of seeing another Sunday, and for the countless blessings we often receive without noticing. We thank you for carrying us through the battles we could not explain, protecting us from dangers we never saw, opening doors we did not knock on, and sustaining us when our strength was almost gone. Lord, we may not have everything we desire, but we refuse to overlook everything you have already given us. Thank you for yesterday, thank you for today, and thank you in advance for the victories, miracles, breakthroughs and testimonies that this new week will bring. Te Deum laudamus! We praise you, Lord, because your mercy has not abandoned us and your faithfulness has never failed us.

Father, we place this entire new week into your hands. Consecrate our week and make it holy. Go before us and prepare the way; walk beside us and strengthen us; remain behind us and protect us; and dwell within us so that we may never walk outside your will. Through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we consecrate ourselves, our families, our homes, our work, our ministry and our future to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. May no evil programme prevail against us. May no trap capture us, no wicked plan destroy us, no accident locate us, no disaster overtake us, and no power of darkness have dominion over what belongs to you. Lord, let this week not merely be another seven days; let it be seven days of divine visitation, divine direction, divine protection and divine manifestation.

Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, we ask you to rain down your goodness upon us throughout this new week. Let Monday bring grace, Tuesday bring favour, Wednesday bring strength, Thursday bring breakthrough, Friday bring victory, Saturday bring testimony, and Sunday bring deeper communion with you. Where there is confusion, give us clarity; where there is weakness, give us strength; where there is delay, release divine timing; where there is closedness, open the right doors; where there is lack, provide abundantly; where there is fear, establish peace; where there is sorrow, restore joy; and where there is impossibility, reveal your power. Bless us with good news that will make us smile, opportunities that will move us forward, people who will help us, wisdom that will distinguish us, and grace that will preserve us. Keep tragedies, disasters, accidents, sudden deaths, evil reports, violence and every form of calamity far from us and those we love.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we declare that this new week shall not consume us; it shall elevate us. We shall not walk into this week defeated, because the Lord goes before us. We shall not be victims of circumstances, because we belong to Christ. Every mountain before us shall become a testimony; every battle shall become an opportunity for God to demonstrate his power; every legitimate desire shall meet divine favour; and every good seed we have planted shall receive the rain of God's grace. May the Precious Blood of Jesus speak for us in every place we go. May the Holy Spirit order our steps, sharpen our discernment and guard our hearts. May St. Michael the Archangel defend us in battle, may our guardian angels accompany us, and may the Blessed Virgin Mary cover us beneath her maternal mantle. In all things, may the will of God be done. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

SUNDAY PRAYER AT 10:30 AM

“LORD, RENEW OUR FAITH”

Heavenly Father,
this Sunday morning, renew our faith and remind us that we never walk alone.

When our family faces difficulties, give us courage. When we are worried about tomorrow, give us peace. When our prayers seem unanswered, give us patience to trust Your timing.

Lord Jesus, help us to make You the centre of our homes.

Teach us to pray together, forgive one another and support one another. Protect our families from division, jealousy, hatred and anything that steals our peace.

Bless those who are travelling today. Protect those at work and those at home. Watch over our children, the elderly and everyone who needs Your special care.

May this Sunday bring healing, hope and renewed strength to every member of our family.

Lord, increase our faith and never allow us to give up on You or on one another.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Gospel of the Day (Matthew 16,21-27)

Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer greatly from the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed and on the third day be raised. Then Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, "God forbid, Lord! No such thing shall ever happen to you."

He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle to me. You are thinking not as God does, but as human beings do." Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

What profit would there be for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? Or what can one give in exchange for his life? For the Son of Man will come with his angels in his Father's glory, and then he will repay everyone according to his conduct."

In Castel Gandolfo, the celebrations of the feast of the Virgin Mary, patron saint of the lake, culminated - this year also associated with thanksgiving for 400 years of the presence of popes in this town. After the Holy Mass in the Church of the Virgin Mary, patron saint of the lake, the Holy Father set out on the water with a statue of the Virgin Mary, accompanied by about a dozen other boats. 🙏

MORNING PRAYER AND BLESSINGS

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, ✠ and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Holy Father, on this Thursday morning, we thank you for your love, divine protection and for the gift of life. I place my life, plans, decisions, and desires completely into Your hands. Go before me and make every crooked path straight. Where I see confusion, release divine clarity; where I see impossibility, create a way; where doors have been shut against me, open the doors that no human power can close. May Your wisdom govern my choices, Your favour distinguish me, and Your Spirit lead me into opportunities prepared for me. I declare that this Thursday will not be wasted: it shall carry divine appointments, unexpected opportunities, beautiful surprises, and testimonies that will make me say, “Only God could have done this!” Amen.

Mighty God, cover me and everyone connected to me beneath the precious Blood of Jesus. Let every accident, tragedy, disaster, sudden death, evil report, violence, disappointment, and hidden attack be far from us. Let no weapon formed against us prosper, and let every scheme of darkness collapse before it reaches us. Send Your holy angels to guard our going out and our coming in. Where the enemy has planned sorrow, establish joy; where he has planned confusion, establish peace; where he has planned defeat, establish victory. This Thursday, we shall not be victims; we shall be witnesses to the goodness and faithfulness of God! Amen.

Lord Jesus, I bring before You every burden carried silently in the hearts of Your children. Touch every place that needs healing, restore what has been broken, strengthen what has become weak, and breathe new life into every hopeless situation. Provide for those facing financial pressure, strengthen those exhausted by life's battles, comfort those carrying grief, and revive those who feel discouraged. Let miracles arise where human solutions have failed. May this Thursday bring good news, answered prayers, financial provision, restoration, favour, success, and breakthroughs that exceed our expectations. Let there be testimonies where there have been tears, abundance where there has been lack, and victory where there has been struggle. Amen.

Father, above everything else, keep my heart firmly anchored in You. Do not allow disappointment to destroy my faith, delay to make me doubt Your promises, or adversity to make me forget who You are. Give me courage to stand when the storm rises, patience when the answer delays, wisdom when the path is unclear, and faith to keep moving when I cannot yet see the destination. Make me an instrument of peace, kindness, courage, and hope today. Let my words lift someone, my presence encourage someone, and my life point someone back to You. I declare over this Thursday: I will walk in grace, I will move in favour, I will overcome every obstacle, and before this day ends, I shall have reasons to praise God. What God has ordained for me will not pass me by. What He has promised me will not die in my hands. My Thursday is blessed, my path is guarded, my future is secure, and my testimony is coming! In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT PRAYER

“Lord, Carry What I Cannot Carry”

“Come to me, all you who labour and are burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Heavenly Father, as this Wednesday comes to an end, I come before You just as I am. Thank You for carrying me from morning until night. Thank You for the dangers You prevented, the battles You fought without my knowledge, the prayers You answered quietly, and the grace that kept me standing.

Lord, tonight I surrender what I cannot control.

I surrender the problems I have been thinking about all day.

I surrender the person I cannot change.

I surrender the door that has refused to open.

I surrender the money I desperately need.

I surrender my family.

I surrender my children.

I surrender my marriage.

I surrender my work and business.

I surrender my studies.

I surrender the decision I do not know how to make.

I surrender the disappointment that keeps returning to my mind.

And Father, I surrender even those prayers that seem to have remained unanswered for too long.

Carry what I cannot carry, Lord.

Where my heart is tired, give me rest.

Where I have been disappointed, renew my hope.

Where somebody has wounded me, begin my healing.

Where I have made mistakes, forgive me.

Where I have sinned, have mercy upon me.

Where I have lost something precious, give me strength to continue.

Where tomorrow frightens me, remind me that You are already there.

Father, tonight I refuse to allow fear to sleep beside me.

I refuse to spend another night fighting imaginary battles about tomorrow.

Your Word tells me:

“In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” — Psalm 4:8

Therefore, Lord, watch over this home tonight.

Protect every door and every window.

Protect our children wherever they are.

Protect those travelling through the night.

Protect those working night shifts.

Protect those in hospitals.

Protect those sleeping with tears in their eyes.

Protect those whose hearts are broken but who have told nobody.

Protect the widow and the widower.

Protect the lonely.

Protect those waiting for employment.

Protect families going through financial difficulties.

Protect marriages experiencing storms.

Protect everyone who has whispered tonight, “God, please don't forget me.”

Lord Jesus, stand beside their beds tonight.

May every troubled heart hear You saying:

“I am here.”

Father, if today brought bad news, let tomorrow carry hope.

If today brought tears, let tomorrow bring consolation.

If today brought rejection, prepare another door.

If today brought failure, give me courage to begin again.

If today left me confused, send Your light.

If something has been delayed, give me patience without losing faith.

And if what I am asking for is not Your will, give me the grace to release it and trust what You are preparing instead.

Tonight I place my entire life beneath the Cross of Jesus Christ.

May the Precious Blood of Jesus cover my family.

May the Holy Spirit fill this home with peace.

May Our Blessed Mother Mary wrap her maternal mantle around us and continually lead us to her Son.

May our guardian angels watch over us throughout this night.

And when morning comes, Father, allow us to rise with new strength, new mercy, new opportunities and renewed faith.

I may not know what tomorrow holds,

but I know Who holds tomorrow.

So tonight, Lord,

I release.
I surrender.
I forgive.
I trust.
And I rest.

Because the God who watched over me today will still be God tomorrow.

Through Christ our Lord.

Amen.
