This month’s Church of the Month takes us to St. Anthony of Padua in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, a towering Gothic parish built by German Catholics who poured their faith, sacrifice, and identity into brick, stone, stained glass, and sacred art.

For more than 150 years, St. Anthony’s has stood as a witness to the Catholic story in Lancaster. From its soaring bell tower to its richly devotional interior, it remains a reminder of an era when churches were built lift hearts toward Heaven.
