Solemnidad del Santísimo Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo.
Cuando Jesús quiso permanecer entre nosotros para siempre, eligió un camino sorprendente: se ocultó en la sencillez del pan.
Quizás porque el verdadero Amor no busca ser admirado, sino acogido. No quiere ocupar un lugar distante, sino entrar en la vida, convertirse en alimento, sustento y compañía.
En el Corpus Christi, se nos invita a preguntarnos: ¿Aún nos sorprende este misterio? ¿O somos indiferentes porque nos hemos acostumbrado tanto a la presencia de Jesús que ya no percibimos el milagro que ocurre ante nuestros ojos?
La Eucaristía es la humildad de Dios llevada al extremo. El Señor del universo se hace pequeño para estar al alcance de todos. No se impone. No hace ruido. Simplemente se ofrece.
Quienes se dejan tocar por este misterio descubren que la gratitud es solo el comienzo. Nutridos por Cristo, aprendemos poco a poco a vivir como Él vivió: compartiendo nuestras vidas, ofreciendo tiempo, atención, cuidado y esperanza. La Eucaristía nos enseña que el verdadero amor no se guarda, sino que se comparte.

Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.
When Jesus wanted to remain among us forever, he chose a surprising path: he remained hidden in the simplicity of bread.
Perhaps because true Love does not seek to be admired, but to be welcomed. It does not want to occupy a distant place, but to enter into life, to become food, sustenance, and companionship.
On Corpus Christi, we are invited to ask ourselves: are we still surprised by this mystery? Or are we indifferent because we have become so accustomed to the presence of Jesus that we no longer perceive the miracle that happens before our eyes?
The Eucharist is the humility of God taken to the extreme. The Lord of the universe makes himself small to be within everyone's reach. He does not impose himself. He makes no noise. He simply offers himself.
Those who allow themselves to be touched by this mystery discover that gratitude is only the beginning. Nourished by Christ, we learn little by little to live as He lived: sharing our own lives, offering time, attention, care, and hope. The Eucharist teaches us that true love is not kept; it is shared.

Solemnidad de la Santísima Trinidad.
Vivir en un mundo que parece buscar la competencia, el éxito a cualquier precio y la priorización de las ventajas personales resulta en seres humanos cada vez más solitarios, individualistas y agotados. El egoísmo nos aísla. Pero no fuimos creados para la soledad.
Hoy, la Solemnidad de la Santísima Trinidad nos saca de este aislamiento para recordarnos que Dios es Comunión. El Padre, el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo no viven aislados; son relación, compartir y entrega absoluta.
La Trinidad es la gran escuela de la fraternidad. El Padre ama al Hijo, el Hijo vive para el Padre, y el Espíritu Santo es el Amor que los une. Como leemos en el Evangelio de hoy:
«Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo, que ha dado a su Hijo unigénito» (Juan 3:16).
Nuestro Dios tiene como esencia el Amor verdadero que no ata, no domina, no busca el interés propio. El amor verdadero es servicio y entrega, y así es la Trinidad: entrega.
Fuimos creados a imagen y semejanza de este Dios de Amor, y solo en Él encontramos la esencia que nos capacita para amar, dejando atrás nuestro egoísmo y formando así comunidad.

Solemnity of the Holy Trinity.
Living in a world that seems to aim for competition, success at any cost, and the prioritization of personal advantages results in increasingly lonely, individualistic, and weary human beings. Selfishness isolates us. But we were not created for solitude.
Today, the Solemnity of the Holy Trinity pulls us out of this isolation to remind us that God is Communion. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit do not live closed in on themselves; They are relationship, sharing, and absolute surrender.
The Trinity is the great school of fraternity. The Father loves the Son, the Son lives for the Father, and the Holy Spirit is the Love that unites them. As we read in today's Gospel:
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son" (John 3:16).
Our God has as his essence true Love that does not bind, does not dominate, does not seek self-interest. True love is service and giving, and so is the Trinity: giving.
We were created in the image and likeness of this God of Love, and only in Him do we find the essence that enables us to love, leaving behind our selfishness and thus forming community.

Domingo de Pentecostés.

El Evangelio de este domingo nos recuerda el momento en que Jesús resucitado visita al grupo de discípulos debilitados y afligidos, infundiéndoles el Espíritu Santo. Como resultado de este encuentro, el grupo renace y renueva su fe y su vitalidad misionera.

Esto también nos sucede hoy, si nos dejamos guiar y renovar por Él, acogiendo con alegría los dones que recibimos y abriéndonos al amor.

Nuestra existencia en el mundo no debe dar frutos de división y temor, sino que estamos invitados a ser Palabra Viva en el mundo, pues todo hombre y toda mujer merece conocer y experimentar la Salvación y el Amor de Dios. Por eso, el Espíritu Santo nos ofrece sus dones para que seamos felices, tengamos vida eterna y llevemos su Amor y esperanza dondequiera que haya división, desaliento o soledad.

Pentecostés es una invitación a dejar que el Espíritu transforme nuestro miedo en valentía, nuestras diferencias en comunión y nuestras vidas en un testimonio del amor de Dios, para que el Reino de Dios esté presente entre nosotros.

Pentecost Sunday.
This Sunday's Gospel reminds us of the moment when the resurrected Jesus visits the group of weakened and sad disciples and breathes the Holy Spirit upon them, and the consequence of this encounter is a group that is reborn and renews its faith and missionary vitality.
This also happens to us today, if we allow ourselves to be guided and renewed by Him, joyfully welcoming the gifts we receive and opening ourselves to be loved.
Our existence in the world should not bear the fruits of division and fear, but we are invited to act as Living Words in the world, for every man and woman deserves to know and experience the Salvation and Love of God. And that is why the Holy Spirit offers us His gifts so that we may be happy, have eternal life, and so that we may bring His Love and hope wherever there is division, discouragement, or loneliness.

Pentecost is an invitation to let the Spirit transform our fear into courage, our differences into communion, and our lives into a witness to God's Love, so that the Kingdom of God may be present among us.

Damos gracias a Dios por la vida de Jaime, por ese “sí” que sigue dando fruto a lo largo de cada generación.

Gracias a cada uno de los que han colaborado con sus testimonios durante esta cuenta atrás, y gracias también a todos los que reaccionaron, comentaron y caminaron con nosotros a lo largo de estos 100 días. Cada palabra, cada recuerdo y cada encuentro han sido testimonio de una trascendencia que sigue viva.
