The Magistral Palace hosted today the visit of Michael Brand MdB, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Republic of , welcomed by Ambassador Giampaolo Cantini, Secretary General for Foreign Affairs of the . A meeting that confirms the strength of the ties uniting Germany and the Order, and highlights the Order's widespread social and healthcare commitment in the country. At the center of the talks was the global humanitarian action in crisis areas, with a particular focus on interventions in , , and , and the shared protection of vulnerable minorities.

After the devastating flash floods in Nepal, many families have lost everything, including loved ones, homes, belongings, food supplies, and their livelihoods.
To help those affected, Malteser International is providing €50,000 in emergency assistance with support from Aktion Deutschland Hilft​. Together with its local partner Rural Self-reliance Development Centre - RSDC​, Malteser International is helping around 900 people in some of the hardest-hit communities in Nuwakot District.
Its response focuses on urgent needs such as safe water, sanitation, hygiene, and food assistance. Families receive essentials including jerrycans, water purification tablets, soap, hygiene items, towels, menstrual products, underwear, and food packages containing rice, lentils, cooking oil, flour, salt, and sugar.

In Banjul, the and the Republic of have signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen humanitarian response, healthcare, and food security. This year, Ordine di Malta - Poste Magistrali celebrates 60 years of history. Established in 1966 by Grand Master Fra’ Angelo de Mojana di Cologna, the postal service of the continues to tell centuries of faith, service, and humanitarian commitment in support of those in need through their stamps.
To mark this milestone, a special miniature sheet was issued featuring four stamps dedicated to Blessed Gerard, Saint John the Baptist, the Order's caregiving activities, and the Magistral Palace in Rome, accompanied by the publication of a comprehensive book dedicated to the history and philanthropic work of the Order through philately.
