The Sovereign Order of Malta is a sovereign subject of international law, with its own constitution, passports, stamps, and public institutions. The Order has diplomatic relations with 112 countries and diplomatic missions to major European countries, as well as to the EU, the UN and numerous international organisations. The Sovereign Order of Malta is neutral, impartial and non-political, which is why it can successfully act as a mediator between States.

The 55 pallets of medicines destined for the most vulnerable people in have arrived in Beirut.
This humanitarian mission was carried out by Confederazione Nazionale delle Misericordie d'Italia in collaboration with the Joint Forces High Command.
The medicines will be distributed through Caritas Lebanon and the Order of Malta Lebanon.

The clinic in Gaza City was blessed today by the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Pizzaballa, in the presence of the Greek Orthodox Patriarch Theophilos III and the Order's Grand Hospitaller Josef D. Blotz.
Established in collaboration with the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem البطريركية اللاتينية - القدس and coordinated by Malteser International, the clinic will provide primary healthcare to up to 100 patients per day in a population severely affected by the conflict.

The Grand Chancellor of the , Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of , Carlos José Pareja Ríos, at the Magistral Palace, a meeting that highlights the Order's renewed focus on Latin America.
During the talks, particular attention was dedicated to promoting new joint humanitarian initiatives. In Peru, the Order of Malta has been active for over seventy years through the Peruvian Association, Malteser Perú and Malteser International, carrying out initiatives in the fields of healthcare, social care, civil protection and support for the most vulnerable communities.

The Order of Malta's Grand Commander, Fra’ Emmanuel Rousseau, has concluded a significant working visit to , the first African country to establish diplomatic relations with the Order in 1961.
During his mission, the Grand Commander met with the highest civil, religious, and healthcare authorities, including Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute and Minister of Public Health Malachie Manaouda, to review bilateral cooperation and the strengthening of social programs.
Key highlights included the signing of a convention to consolidate support for pediatric oncology in the country.
The visit also covered the Saint Jean de Malte Hospital in Njombé, a healthcare centre of excellence.
Through the work of Ordre de Malte France and Malteser International, the Order of Malta renews its commitment to the most vulnerable communities in Cameroon.

At the Magistral Villa in Rome, the Order of Malta held a thanksgiving ceremony dedicated to all those who contributed to the first-aid activities provided during the Jubilee of Hope. In the presence of the Grand Master, Fra’ John Dunlap, Jubilee Medals were awarded to the members and volunteers who distinguished themselves in their service during the Holy Year.
The Grand Hospitaller, Josef D. Blotz, expressed deep gratitude for the silent and constant commitment of the healthcare professionals and volunteers. Operating in the First Aid Post in St. Peter's Square and the papal basilicas, they ensured thousands of medical interventions for pilgrims who arrived in Rome.

On 14 June Grand Master Fra' John Dunlap participated in the solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by Cardinal Gianfranco Ghirlanda, Patron of the Order of Malta. This occurred at the conclusion of the Jubilee Festivals of the Holy Crucifix, the traditional twenty-five-year event the Magione community dedicates to the venerated image of the Crucifix in the parish church of St. John Baptist.

The official visit to Estonia concluded today. In Tallinn, the Grand Master of the Order of Malta, Fra’ John Dunlap, met with the President of the Republic, Alar Karis, and the Speaker of Parliament, Lauri Hussar, to discuss key global challenges and the role of humanitarian diplomacy.
During the institutional programme, Grand Chancellor Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo and Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna signed a Cooperation Agreement aimed at strengthening socio-humanitarian initiatives, volunteer work, and assistance to refugees in the country.
The Grand Master also visited the Vilmsi Pansionaat elderly care facility, where volunteers from the Order of Malta’s Relief Corps provide support to the most vulnerable segments of the population.

The official visit to Latvia continues. This morning in Riga, the Grand Chancellor of the Order of Malta, Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže. A fruitful discussion focused on consolidating an increasingly structured humanitarian cooperation and on key international issues.
The Minister expressed deep gratitude for the Order's work in Latvia and in the complex crisis scenarios in Ukraine and the Middle East.

On an official visit to Latvia, the Grand Master of the Order of Malta, Fra’ John T. Dunlap, met with President Edgars Rinkēvičs. The talks reaffirmed the excellent bilateral cooperation and the shared commitment in the humanitarian, social, and educational fields. The day continued with participation in the joint flower-laying ceremony at the Freedom Monument and a visit to the Order's project "Sarah’s Garden", a day center for people suffering from dementia.
At the conclusion of the institutional appointments, the Grand Master met with Daiga Mieriņa, Speaker of the Latvian Parliament, reaffirming the strong bilateral ties and the Order's social commitment in the country.
