The École Saint Marcellin Champagnat in Ampahidrano was officially inaugurated on 10 June 2026 in , near Fianarantsoa.

Although the school has been operating since September 2025, the inauguration marked a significant milestone for the and for the local community.

The celebration brought together civil and Church authorities, Marist Brothers, representatives of FMSI, as well as students and their families, reflecting the shared commitment behind this educational project.

Today, the school serves around 400 pupils and continues to grow, responding to the increasing demand for access to quality in the region.

El H. Peter Carroll, Superior general, junto con su Consejo, participó hoy en la clausura del programa de formación “Mirar Más Allá”, celebrada en Manziana. Organizado por el Secretariado Hermanos Hoy y el equipo de formación permanente del Instituto, el programa se desarrolló del 10 de mayo hasta la fecha y estuvo dirigido a hermanos de entre 60 y 70 años. En esta edición participaron 16 hermanos, quienes vivieron un espacio de reflexión, crecimiento personal y renovación de su compromiso vocacional.

Com uma celebração de envio e agradecimento, em 18 de junho terminou o programa de formação Gier 2026, na Casa Geral . Desde 24 de maio jovens irmãos, com até 5 anos de profissão perpétua, aprofundaram a própria vocação como serviço a Igreja por meio do Carisma Marista, acompanhados pelos Irmãos Lindley Sionosa e Antonio Peralta, com o apoio do Secretariado Irmãos Hoje.

Los participantes del programa “Mirar más allá” en han completado las dos últimas semanas de formación marcadas por la reflexión, la oración y la peregrinación.

La experiencia incluyó sesiones sobre el amor incondicional de Dios, una peregrinación a y un retiro final guiado por figuras bíblicas como la samaritana, Marta y María, y Nicodemo.

Un tiempo de profundidad espiritual y renovación para los Hermanos Maristas.
