It is amazing to have our JPII Leader Sister Gracy Vadakara (cohort IV, India) as part of the official Joint Working Group between the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Roman Catholic Church. She is one of the 10 Catholic members selected all over the world who met for the plenary meeting with the 10 members from the WCC from September 3 to 5 at the Ecumenical Institute in Bossey.
Sister Gracy - Provincial of the Daughters of the Church in India - was excited and grateful about this opportunity to represent the Roman Catholic Church in the field of dialogue, thanks to the education she received during her time as a Russell Berrie Fellow and at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas - Angelicum
Congratulations Sister Gracy and keep up the good work!

JPII Leaders Fr. Jan Nowotnik (Cohort X, UK) and Fr. Ryan Muldoon (Cohort XI, USA) are extremely active in ecumenical and interreligious dialogue in their local Churches where they are in charge of this dialogical dimension.
Recently they participated in an ecumenical study visit to Kerala, India, aimed at bringing young Catholic priests engaged in ecumenical work at the diocesan or national level to encounter the Churches of the Saint Thomas Christian tradition. The visit was an initiative of the prestigious Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Oriental Orthodox Churches, and the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church hosted the delegation of eight selected Roman Catholic priests. The delegation was led by Fr. Hyacinthe Destivelle, OP, an official of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity and the founding director of the Institute for Ecumenical Studies at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas - Angelicum. The study visit included meetings with leaders, seminarians, and lay faithful of several Oriental Orthodox and Eastern Catholic Churches.
Congratulations Father Ryan and Father Jan for keeping up the good work and for your engagement in dialogue! 🌟🌟
