The Solemnity of The Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi) is celebrated this weekend and all are welcomed especially to our 10:30 AM Mass on Sunday. One of our students will receive his First Communion at the 10:30 AM Mass.

At the end of the Mass, we will have a procession of the Blessed Sacrament. We have invited this year’s First Communion Children (from both our Religious Education and Marymount Programs) to come dressed in their First Communion clothes and walk in front of the procession, tossing flower petals to lead the way.

Young Adults at St. Patrick's (Theology Alla Spina) had a great year! Many thanks to Deacon Brendan Parlett and all of the seminarians and deacons from the Pontifical North American College and to all of our Guest Speakers and Host Churches for the past nine months!

Congratulations to Joe and Alison Murphy on their Golden Anniversary!! They were married here at St. Patrick's Church 50 years ago. They were joined by their children and grandchildren and are very happy. Congratulations! Tanti auguri!!

Wonderful Confirmation Mass Saturday evening with Cardinal Peter Turkson confirming 39 Marymount students. It was a packed Church! Afterwards the Confirmation Team and Deacon Mitchell Schumann joined Fr. Matt and me for dinner at a local Ristorante!

Joyous celebration this morning, welcome Laura De Stefano into the Church, as she made her Profession of Faith, was Confirmed and received First Communion. Laura and her family brought the gifts afterwards and she received First Communion with her family behind her. Laura has been an active member of Parish Council and a great supporter of all we do here at St. Patrick's Church. Tanti auguri!

Here's Fr. Matt welcoming Bishop Gerald Kicanas, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Tucson, Arizona, and good friend of the Paulist Fathers. Born and raised in Chicago, Bishop Kicanas is here with Cardinal Cupich and a Pilgrimage Group from Chicago. We are happy to host them in our Church for Mass tonight. Many may recall that it was Bishop Kicanas who ordained Fr. Matt and his classmates (Fr. Steve Petroff and Fr. Stuart Wilson-Smith) to the priesthood on May 20, 2017 at St. Paul the Apostle Church in New York City.
