Il 21 Aprile, giorno in cui si celebra il Natale di Roma, la luce colpisce il centro del portale d’accesso. Nel giorno in cui Roma festeggia il suo compleanno, i raggi di luce penetrano nel Pantheon e, alle 13 precise, illuminano perfettamente la porta di bronzo d'ingresso, quella da cui oggi entrano i visitatori ma da cui, tanti anni fa, accedeva l'imperatore.
L'effetto di luce che, ancora oggi, affascina romani e turisti, aggiungendo un tocco regale al Natale di Roma.
