The International Montfortian Formation Program for the English-speaking group was inaugurated on 12 May 2026 at the Generalate of the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel. Twenty-two participants are taking part in this formation program. They belong to the three Montfortian families: the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel, the Daughters of Wisdom, and the Montfort Missionaries.

The first part of the session is being held in Rome, Italy while the second part will take place in Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre, France.

On 18 April 2026, at St. Gabriel’s House, Sitagarha (Jharkhand, India), 21 Novices of the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel made their First Profession, committing their lives to God through the vows of Poverty, Chastity, and Obedience. With the theme “Commitment to Follow Jesus,” the celebration was presided over by Rt. Rev. Bishop Anand Jojo and witnessed by the Montfortian Gabrielite family, relatives, and friends. This joyful moment marks the beginning of their journey as consecrated Religious, dedicated to education, service, and mission, especially among the poor and marginalised.

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮
From 6th to 10th April 2026, an important leadership training course is being held at the Ignatian Spirituality Centre "Vuela" in Brazzaville. The course is dedicated to the provincial councils of Brazzaville, East Africa, and Kinshasa. The Superior General, Brother Dionigi Taffarello, and the General Assistants, Brothers Jean Marie Thior and Dhanaraj, are also in attendance, demonstrating the significance of the initiative. The Province of Brazzaville and its Provincial Superior, Brother Jean De Dieu Mandilou, are to be sincerely thanked for their excellent organisation, as well as all the religious members who, with their valuable experience and expertise in leadership, are energising and enriching the sessions. This meeting is a valuable opportunity for all participants to grow and exchange ideas.
