Something really touched me in this interview with Brother Ghislain. ❤️

He wasn’t just saying: ‘It was beautiful. It was good.’
He was saying that he had allowed himself to be moved. Deeply. And I could see it.

He had received God’s comfort through the comfort of others.
Because he was there. Truly there.
Present in the moment, in what was being given to him.

And sometimes, I wonder…
👉 Am I, too, truly present?
Or am I already on the lookout for something incredible to experience… something I can talk about, share, post… just to impress?

Perhaps the real experience isn’t always the one that makes for the best story.
Perhaps it’s simply the one that touches me deeply. 🤍

What about you?

And behind it all, one shared reality:
🏺 God continues to shape us.

Because the Yearbook doesn’t just tell the story of what we do.
It also tells the story of what God is doing within us.

🌍🌱 From September 1 to October 4, Christians around the world celebrate the Season of Creation.
A time to pray, reflect… and above all, to let ourselves be transformed in the way we live in and care for our common home. 🌎

Today we begin with the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation. 🙏

Since the beginning of his pontificate, Pope Leo has been reminding us:
“Disarm your words, disarm your actions…”

And he takes up this verse from Isaiah to say it in another way:
“They shall beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks.” (Is 2:4)

But this transformation begins with us.
We can change our own hearts; we cannot ask others to change in our place.

The Pope therefore invites us to an inner transformation:
“Without this inner transformation, peace will remain fragile and short-lived. But where hearts are renewed, new possibilities open up.”

What was once used for destruction can then be redirected towards life:
🌱 caring for Creation
🤲 caring for the poor
🍞 feeding those who are hungry
🕊️ building peace

This is the path of a true ecological conversion: a conversion that springs from our encounter with Jesus Christ and transforms our relationship with the world around us.

Peace begins in the heart. ❤️‍🔥
And from there, it radiates into our relationships, our communities… and the whole world.

🌱 And you, what “sword” is God inviting you to transform into a “ploughshare” today?

✨ Have you ever felt consoled by God?
💫 Being consoled by God is something profound. A feeling — so well described by Ignatius of Loyola — where no matter what lies ahead, God is there, He loves me. Just as I am.
🌊 Brother Ghislain bears witness to this in his own way: on the beaches of Japan after the tsunami, alongside fishermen and widows, he learned that letting God console you also means becoming able to console others — being present, crying with them, rebuilding with them. 🙏

Since the beginning of his pontificate, Pope Leo XIV has been urging us to strip our words, our actions and our hearts of all hostility. He calls us to peace … So let us listen to his call and allow ourselves to be truly moved by the Vicar of Christ … What am I called to do?
« Dear brothers and sisters, let us seek not to retreat into our own convictions and religious certainties, but to remain open to an authentic relationship with Christ. At times, when it comes to the Christian faith, we may be content with what we have merely “heard,” with common assumptions or with what has been handed down to us, perhaps even with the best of intentions. Yet Jesus calls us to give a personal response, to know him more closely and to allow ourselves to be shaped by friendship with him through an ever new encounter. This may also ask us to follow unfamiliar paths and to make choices different from those we had imagined. »

Toutes les Congrégations provinciales et régionales sont terminées depuis dimanche✨
Un temps de rencontre, de discernement, d’échanges et de prière partagée, pour avancer ensemble et chercher ce que Dieu attend de nous.
La prochaine étape se joue maintenant du côté de Rome, pour préparer la Congrégation Générale de février 2027.
Continuons à prier pour ce chemin en cours, afin que l’Esprit continue de nous guider 🙏

Accepting the other as they truly are... it's not that simple. We slip fast into a power struggle, wanting to win, to convince.
Brother Ghislain shares the words of Anne Pelletier, heard one day at Taizé: "Stand firm in hope."
Keep hoping it's possible. Stay standing. Don't let go. 🙏

Happy Feast of the Assumption! 🌿✨

Today we celebrate Mary, taken into heaven, body and soul. 💙

The Gospel for today tells us about Mary’s visit to Elizabeth, her elderly cousin who is expecting a child.

And I like to imagine this encounter as a three-stage rocket 🚀:

1️⃣ First stage: John the Baptist!
He leaps for joy in Elizabeth’s womb when he senses the presence of Jesus in Mary’s womb. 🤍
Joy begins with a tiny movement… but it is already announcing something wonderful!

2️⃣ Second stage: Elizabeth!
Feeling John leap within her, Elizabeth recognises what is happening: Mary is carrying the Saviour. 🙏
She is filled with joy and blesses Mary.

3️⃣ Third stage: Mary!
Mary rejoices — first for Elizabeth and the wonderful thing God is doing in her life. And then her joy bursts into praise:

✨ “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour!” ✨

And we can almost imagine heaven itself rejoicing! 🎉

So today, I can ask myself:

💛 Do I rejoice in the happiness of others?
🌱 Do I recognise God’s presence in the joy of others?
🔥 Do I rejoice in my own life and in doing God’s will?
❤️ And do I rejoice deeply?

Maybe the Assumption invites us to rediscover that joy is contagious when we recognise God at work in one another.
