World Mission Sunday - 19th October - Is a global celebration of faith, solidarity and hope.

Missionaries often leave their homes and all that is familiar to share God's love. SMG Sisters went to East Africa in 1985 to share the Charism of Venerable Mother Magdalen. This month we celebrated 40 years of this foundation and have eight vibrant communities with almost 50 Sisters sharing the joy of the Gospel and the Charism of Mother Magdalen, in Mwingi, Diocese of Kitui. For all this we give praise to God.
Pray for missionaries throughout the world who are experiencing doubts and fears due to the unfamiliarity of their environments. May God give them the strength and courage they need to share his Word.
