The associations of classical worship, Pietas-Comunità Gentile and YSEE for Greece, have founded the Mediterraneum Association, seeking to provide mutual support and assistance in the development of the Greco-Roman religion in their respective countries. YSEE, which has obtained religious state recognition and is therefore the official body of classical religion in Greece, now supports the requests of the Gentile Pietas Community, aiming to directly communicate with Italian institutions in order to raise awareness of our cause. We thank our Greek brothers for their commitment to the protection of the sacred fire of Vesta/Hestia. Together for Tradition.

Le associazioni del culto classico, Pietas-Comunità Gentile per l'Italia e YSEE per la Grecia, hanno fondato l'associazione Mediterraneum, con il fine di supporto e sostegno reciproco nello sviluppo della religione greco-romana nei propri paesi.
L'YSEE, che ha ottenuto il riconoscimento religioso dallo stato ed è dunque organo ufficiale della religione classica in Grecia, sostiene da oggi le Istanze della Comunità Gentile Pietas, cercando di comunicare in maniera diretta con le istituzioni italiane al fine di sensibilizzarle alla nostra causa.
Ringraziamo i nostri fratelli Greci per l'impegno a tutela del sacro fuoco di Vesta/Estìa.

Happy rebirth of the sun!

Oggi 24 dicembre é il dies silentii, il giorno in cui si attende la nascita del Sole Invitto, festa importantissima dell'antica Roma che il cristianesimo non solo non è riuscito a cancellare, ma ha dovuto persino spostare i festeggiamenti della nascita del suo Emanuel dal 6 gennaio al 25 dicembre. Agostino, uno dei padri della chiesa, giustifica la cosa col dire che Cristo è in realtà il Sole e che dunque pagani e cristiani adorano lo stesso Dio.
Comunque la si voglia raccontare, da domani il fatto reale é che la durata del giorno tornerà a crescere a discapito del buio, dunque felice festa della Luce a Tutti!

Salvete Omnes! Hi everyone! Tomorrow is the winter solstice: on the evening of 21st December recite the hymn to Apollo to celebrate the solstice. Light a candle and burn some incense.
We remind you that on the evening of the 21st we exchange gifts (strenae). Candles and evergreen branches are exchanged as gifts. On the night of the 24th, the candle is lit and the evergreen is hung above the door of the house, under which good luck kisses are exchanged. The candle is lit on the occasion of the evening meal on the 24th, which is a banquet dedicated to the Sol Invictus (the Unbeateable Sun).
