Yesterday, December 08, 2020, on the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, three friars of the Franciscans of the Immaculate were consecrated deacons. Let us thank God for their gift of vocation and perseverance and let us ask Him for a fruitful ministry of service ahead of them to and for the Church.

Edit: I am using my first professional Paul Rubens brush #4 that I named JanMatt. He is my seminarian classmate in the Philippines who died two days ago, the same day I received that brush.

I think I am falling in love with chinese free-hand drawings. Movements of brush strokes are so satisfying - hard to execute - but a love love! The ink flow is, most of the time, very unpredictable so much so that it makes each art piece unique and inimitable.

As a gift for Fra Vincent's nameday today and for his perpetual profession that he made earlier this year, I painted with watercolor his very own Patron Saint: Vincent de Paul.

Note: It has been two weeks since I embarked in this art! haha
